Hi there I am new to this forum and really have no idea what to expect. Can someone please help with a reaccuring dream I am having.
In my dreams I am wide awake or laying in my bed... I can see the ceiling, my bed, the fan blowing... I can hear the noises around me the radio, tv or what ever might be on at that moment. I then start to feel panic and I begin to feel paralysed.... I can't lift my arms, hands or move my head around to see what is going on... I feel someone watching me or just standing there no movement just there.. I can feel this person I just can't see them... I mentally tell myself please move GOD please just let me see who it is so they will go away all I need is to see them.. Please let me move or just wake up so I can see who it is and they will leave... My mind is working so hard to wake up. I want to move what ever I can hands, head anything just so i can wake up... I feel such a panic that my heart starts to race and fear sets in... I begin trying to scream, until finally I am able to move and sit up by this time... I am in tears from the fear I can't get control of what I just went thru... I am so afraid to fall asleep at nights for the fear I will have this dream... Sometimes If people are around me I am ok and can sleep but then there are times when I am alone this dream over comes me and I fear sleep... I really would appreciate any feedback, thanks M_L |

Hi,
Being scared or feared in the dream means you will be safe , you can use this symbol to calm yourself. If they are hidden (The dawn) In the name of God, the beneficent, the Merciful. 1. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn. 2. From the evil of what He has created, 3. And from the evil of the utterly dark night when he comes, 4. And from the evil of those who blow on knots, 5. And from the evil of the envious when he envies. (The men) In the name of God, the beneficent, the Merciful. 1. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men, 2. The king of men, 3. The God of men, 4. From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Shaitan), 5. Who whispers into the hearts of men, 6. From among the jinn and the men. people around you you say this prayers several times: |

Hi.
I'm afriad that your dream isn't a dream, but a scissor-lock. I learned about it a few days ago because one of my friends had it. You see, I can see ghosts and my friend asked me if i ever had a scissor lock, but i told her i never did, so she explained it to me. A scissor lock "supposedly" is when your in a "dream state." The reason you can't move is because of the spirit. People say the spirit tries to push through your body, by pressing their hands to your chest, and pressing and pressing. (eventually killing you) Thus getting the name "scissor lock." Usually you're in a state where you can't move at all and you can't really think. Most people wake up at this point and they still can't move. They usually see the ghost, like my friend did. They say a couple of prayers, and the ghost goes away, and you can start moving again. The death numbers of scissor lock is really rare, so you don't really have to worry. Hoped dis helped |

This happened to me in college. I told one of my pagan friends about it and she got a group of her friends to "fix" my room so that it wouldn't happen again.
After they set up crystals and rose petals in my room, I instantly felt like my room was a safe and secure place, like something good was comforting me when I went to sleep. I didn't have any more intense nightmares like that one for the rest of the year. I only wish I was still in college so I could track them down and have them do the same to every place I sleep. |

It sounds as if you are having vivid or lucid dreams which are slightly different to that of normal dreams. If, whenever, you feel your body go rigid, then, try not to struggle against this; try instead to relax (if possible) which will assist in relieving you fear. Sometimes, in such cases, when one relaxes the experience of falling might be felt but all that this means is that you are going into a deeper level of sleep. You will probably continue to dream lucidly but when you awake the fear will have gone and you should feel more refreshed than probably you have done for some time. Your experience is not unique but can be frightening until you learn to go along with it. I hope this advice helps.
