| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

I know what you've been through in your dreams, My dreams have dragged me everywhere, let me know if you have experienced similar things. Sleep Paralysis sucks, lately it has been keeping me up always. It would be very comforting to know if there was someone else who has experienced what I do almost every night.

I woke up today and shifted my position, because I was not ready to get out of bed, but when I decided to get up I could not move. I was struggling to move and then finally for some reason I was able to move again. That experience reminded me of my nightmare I have sometimes where I am paralyzed. It was scary.

i have also had this dream once and it was really scary. i remember being in bed but it didnt feel like i was awake and hearing music but when i tried to move i couldnt and couldnt open my eyes only my brain was working as i remember thinkin F**k am i dead. after a few sceonds i just woke up normlly but i was really scared to sleep the night after. i have heard alot of ppl hav this and its more common for people when they are stressed which i was when i had mine. i also read in a magazine bout it and they say to relax before bed and have 7-8 hours sleep every night. i was worried about this dream thought but it seems its quiet common

I am an African traditional healer in training and have encountered these symptoms on many occassions.
Africans, Indians, Chinese etc have been treating these conditions for a long time. I think western medicine has failed to diagnose this "illness" correctly. I think as a society we have not reached a balance between western medicine and traditional medicine. I challenge anyone to chat to an African from Africa and hear their take on the matter; you will find that these symptoms are more common and are treatable/curable. Hopefully one day I will be able to make a difference in the lives of people like yourselves. |

About two hours ago the same thing happened to me, except I was on the phone and I was dozing off. My story is here "http://www.sleeps.com/forums/dream-interpretation/26243.htm", check it out...its scary stuff.
It's also happened to my friend, except he tried harder than me to actually get up. |
