Pricked..

Hello All. New here. Just had an odd dream last night, figured it'd be best to post it somewhere.

I was out with some friends, just hanging out near my house. And we were just sitting down, talking and all the rest of it, and one of my friends got 'pricked' off a needle, hidden in some grass that he was sitting on, but it was actually me who felt the 'prick', and the small mark was left on my finger.

I ran home, my mother was sitting down in the front room watching TV, and my sister was at the back table eating. I ran to the kitchen and put my finger under some cold water from the tap. I looked down at my hand again, and I could see inside my hand, it looked kinda like..loads of blood cells moving around, they turned like a yellow/white colour, and it felt like my heart was beating 200mph. I was shouting to my mother about it, saying I need help. My sister kept repeating the same words over and over again. "You're going to die, you're going to die'. And my mother was saying words like 'Nothing can help you now, it's too late'. Anyway after that I just 'blacked out', then woke up breathing heavily.

I'm just you're average teen (17 Years old). My life is fine right now, I'm a student and in 2nd year of college. I'm shy around people and not very confident about speaking out in class, I have been like this pretty much my whole life, and it sometimes annoys me. I only have a few close friends who i'm fine with, with one who normally get's the rest of us annoyed sometimes, and don't exactly like him that much. My relationship with my mother and sister is good, we get along fine with no problems. I don't do drugs or smoke. I normally only have alcohol at the weekends, nothing more.

It'd be nice to know what this means, I haven't had a dream like it before.

I'm no expert, nor do I have a whole lot of knowledge about dreams. But you say that you saw inside your hand. Could this needle be a drug needle?

You also said that you have alcohol on the weekends, alcohol is a drug. Perhaps your subconscious is telling you it doesn't like what the alcohol is doing to your body?

Relax! When your dream mentions "kitchen" and "eating" you can be sure the dream was caused by indigestion or some other stomach problems. Prhaps you eaten something that upset your stomach. Sometimes your subconscious over does it with this "You're going to die, you're going to die' It is there in the dream to wake you up quickly! You needed to be woken quickly because you woke up breathing heavily
The needle in the grass and the prick on your finger are there in the dream to bring you near to waking. You are afraid of getting infected from a discarded needle.
