Default Cant sleep

My recurring dream all started back when one day i had a dream like "something" came over my body and wouldnt let me move or scream. Soon after my dreams started ocurring more often and now when i fall asleepI get this heavy feeling on my chest and head like something is crushing them and when i wake up my teeth hurt because ive been pressing on them. Everytime, I know im sleeping within my dream and i tell myself i have to wake up. I try to fight against this pressure on my mouth ( in my dream) by putting my hand in it or holding my jaw apart. My dream changes, the people in it but the feeling of something being there trying to attack me is the same. Now it doesnt make a difference how sleepy i am, i just go to sleep and wake right up away. Even when i take naps during the day , I dont know what to do. Someone suggested going to church?

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear you have trouble sleeping. Your dreams suggest that you are upset or very angry with someone or about some issue. It is the thoughts of anger and frustration that cause you to clench your teeth. Perhaps it is something you can't do much about.
If you know the problem, have a talk about it with someone you know or a counsellor.

Here is another problem! When you take a nap during the day it may be sitting up or in an unfamiliar place. Bad sleepin positions cause very bad dreams. You may slouch forward and obstruct your breathing. That causes a nightmare.
When you go to bed, try not to sleep on your back or your stomach. these sleeping positions cause breathing difficulties.
When you wake up from one of these dreams check if you hurt anywhere. Sometimes a pulled muscle on one side of or the other can cause bad dreams.
Finally if you're a churchgoer and know your minister well, it would not hurt talking to him or her about your problem; if it is not too personal.
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
Seems you are under emotional presure or better to say you insisting on something like insisting to achieve a degree or insisting and stressing on your kids or partner to achieve a goal.
Take it easy it will let go.
Good luck.
