This is like an outside looking in type dream. It is also quite long.
I was on Flight 93 with my boyfriend, and as in reality it was hijacked. Everything happened in fast foward the hijack, the revolt, and the crash itself. However, I was seemingly unphased by all of it and I sat there looking around in a sirreal state of mind. I was severely injured to the point where I should have died but instead I felt no pain, no panic, not anything. My boyfriend was barely scratched. My body was highly messed up torn in places and very gory, but my right hand was very clearly visable and was the center of attention.( I had yestarday fallen in real life and gotten stitches on my wrist and hand so my hand was bandaged) The bandage was ripped and you could see the cut underneath had been ripped open but there was also something in my hand that apeared to be broken, but I was clutching it quite tightly. My boyfriend and I climbed out of the plane wreck and stood in the field. The rescue team was obviously creeped out by the object in my hand it appeared to be of great importance to me and they would not come near me. Suddenly the setting went from the PA field to the site of The Towers. My boyfriend and I were in the same condition and I still held the object. I kept looking around, with an odd expression. Everyone around me was in chaos running and panicing. Then I stood in place and watched the Twin Towers collapse and the people jumping from the buildings burning. Everything was so surreal. The noise then stopped and all the chaos continued. Then I turned to my boyfriend but he was gone and an EMT came up to be and was trying to help me but then noticed the object in my hand and backed away. The object began glowing and in a matter of seconds everything was restored to as it was before, The Towers restored and unharmed, Flight93 in the air again, and The Pentagon restored as well. The dead people were alive but injured the injured people restored, the dust of the explosions remained in the streets and I remained just as injured as before. Everyone stopped and realized what happened. The people all still aware of the explosions and attacks. My boyfriend however, even as I searched for him, never returned and still the people wouldn't approach me and seemed uneasy about the object in my hand which again appeared broken and stopped glowing. I don't know what to make of this dream at all. |

I have been in plane crashes in my dreams, and it is violent and scary. Sometimes I watch the plane crash, sometimes I am in it. When I am in the plane, I always survive and dig through the wreckage. I have flown often, and know how to fly airplanes (just short of a license) and have flown them for years. I have the same 'fear' of crashing as I do on a motorcycle or in a car. Were you being rescued (acknowledging your injuries), or trying to help others? Maybe there's some meaning that your boyfriend is with you.
As for the 9/11 pieces, unless you were personally affected or witnessed it (my condolences if you have been) I think we all received way too much media coverage, and that creeps in dreams as much as scary movies do. |

I was 9 when 9/11 happened, I lived in Brooklyn at the time and watched it all happen and experianced health related issues afterwards due to the dust ad smoke that traveled...I suppose that could have added to it.

CC, I somewhat understand as I was also in Brooklyn on that day, and I hope your health has been restored.
Regarding your dream: The object in your hand is intriguing. In your dream, you have the power to heal or reverse what has occurred, perhaps on another plane, as if it had never happened. Any extraordinary ability can unnerve other people. What you did was brave. Why would onlookers fear the ability to heal as much as they fear destruction? How did you feel about what you were able to do? Just a few thoughts. |
