I saw darkness

it was horrible. as i was sleeping in the same way as i was in the dream. everything was the same as in real life. but only like looking in a mirrior. backwards. it was dark. but not completely dark.




the moon was very close. making it shine bright like lightning storms. i felt like i went blind for a while at first. because i was kind of half asleep. i hear something at my bedroom door. and it comes in.




thats when the moon shines brightly in my bedroom. its very hard to explain. i saw this lady with a smokey coloured, very silky cloak. and it was waving around like rapples of water. as well as her hair. i got scared as she approached me.




she was pretending to be my mother. and i knew it wasn't her. i got scared even worse when this woman spoke. it was like an echo voice. kept coming closer and closer and kept asking me if i was ok, or safe. trying to comfort me. but in a scary way. i had chills, off the charts. goosebumps, off the charts. heart beat and dizziness. very high.



i screamed. i blinked my eyes as soon as this woman tried to kill me. huge mouth loud evil laugh. at the time i blinked and awoken from it still having the chills and goosebumps and was in the same position as i was in the dream..




this is the 2nd night in a row i dreamed about shadowy figures. and yes this woman had a highlight floating around her like smoke. i know this may not seem like a total nightmare. i agree. i had much worse then this. way worse. and they can happen often.





i drew a quick picture of the woman. i call her Moon Woman because she made the moon shine so bright. even though she was so not the bright type.

The above quote indicates that you were feeling feverish in your sleep and it was your fever and dizzyness that caused the nightmare.
If you had the other dreams in the same week, you probably had "swine flu"
The scary moon woman was created by your own subconscious to wake you up. It is also possible that ono sleeping position causes you pain or discomfort.

i'm extremely healthy. i haven't been sick since .... i can't remember. it's been ages since i've ever been sick. so its definately not that. the thing is i get so scared in a nightmare i wake up with the fear still. it went away few seconds later as i awoke.



the thing is i can actually wake up in my own dreams. and everytime i've actually entered my own dreams a horrible nightmare forces me away. for what i wonder? i can and have always been able to feel my dreams. includes, pain, pleasure, taste, things i've never aten or drinkin. i'll try it in real life and taste the same. only in my dream more pure.



but if my sub-conscious mind wanted to wake me up. can't it do it in a non scary way that couldn't make you feel like your getting scared to death?

It does wake you up without scaring you, however when something happens in your sleep that needs you to be woken very quickly the subconscious sends a nightmare to frighten you awake.
I can't tell why you have to wake up quickly sometimes. However this:

was not caused by the dream,The "chills", "goosebumps" "heartbeat" and dizzyness caused you to have the nightmare. It my be that negative thoughts intruded into your sleep, however it is more likely that you felt that way in the sleep.
Dreams heal many ailments in sleep and you could have been very ill in your sleep but woke up healthy and refreshed! Even if you felt ill when you woke up, the dream took your mind off it!

i can dream up very beautiful things. but also very horrible things.



but if it wasn't the dream that caused the fear of chills and goosebumps. i wasn't sweating when i awoken. i'm healthy as a horse. but if anything i should get ill in the night from is the fact that i push myself through out the days somedays. specially at night. a lot of dancing and trying to perfect my standing on my hands.



a lot of the times i mess up. and push myself harder and harder. and then i get so over worked i feel like i'm going to pass out. and then i stop. and after a few hours go to sleep. and start dreaming dreams. lucid dreams i really can't completely control.


it gets hot even with my fan on sometimes. i woke up cold. plus i take 30 cap AMOXICILLIN to cure my pimples. one pill a day. perhaps all that could be messing with me as i sleep. because through out the day i'm fine. i know just as well as you do about being asleep you don't know whats going on.




the big part of the dream scared me because it was dark. i could see but not too clearly. the moon only could shine so bright. i've always been afraid of the dark. ever since my older brother and his friend told me scary things that creep in the darkness.



i was in the basement he pushed me aside ran up the stairs with his buddy and shut me in the basement locking the door in the complete darkness. i was like 3 or 4 at the time. brother is 7yrs older then me. i started to scream because i felt like something was in the basement with me. and it wasn't going to be friendly.



i yell asking for help, somethings down here with me! help! open the door please! finally someone opened the door. ever since then. i couldn't over come my fear of the dark. may think i'm crazy but i can feel the danger in the dark.

I was thinking about this dream. Of how its often that the only way we see ourselves is in the refection of others. It’s hard seeing ourselves from within. Without others do can exist at all, how would we know or be aware of ourselves without others to push against?
Is it the reflections that confuse us? Am I mother, father, son, daughter, friend, lover, enemy, victim, hero… We present our roles, we play so many … Are they all me? Are any of them me?
This is the darkness that I fear. If I can’t see a clear refection then I cannot see me.

I would say first and foremost, stop taking antibiotics for acne. I tried it in my teens and it is not good for you. The nightmare might be trying to alert you to it. Antibiotics should only be used if you are fighting off a serious illness because it also kills good bacteria.

Sounds like you might have some unresolved fear issues from your childhood. Facing your fears in your dreams can help resolve fear issues in your waking life. If you can lucid or consciously dream try to revisit the dream and ask the moon spirit what she is or what she wants. You ultimately have all the control in your dreams and she cannot hurt you.

well.. if thats the case.. then my doctor isn't as bright as i thought he was then. wasn't my idea. i just wanted cream. clean and clear work against me. and whatever else i tried. it does work. the pills seem to be taking them away.



i dunno how much you all are on paranormal stuff. as in. believing it. through out my later child days pre-teen and my whole teen life. when i turned 19 they stopped trying to visit me for the longest time. and when i turned 22 they started to visit me here and there. mostly in the darkness.




when i was trying to stop it all at 18 i was told by another ghost believer who knew more about it. he said i was a medium sensitive. which till this day i really haven't a clue what medium sensitive means.





now that i'm 24 the only way one tries to visit me is if i'm feeling scared. or feeling unsafe.



please note i don't really see them. but mostly just feel their presents. and the ones i do see are just either blacker then darkness it self. or a see through white. or i can hear them. those are really the scary kind. the ones you can hear.



and no. i'm not that one mental thing. nor the others. i'm just super sensitive.
