ok i had this nightmare where me my mom and my two younger brothers lived in like a cabin. my mom was serving dinner on this huge wood table. for some reason my dad was on the couch.. but he was dead.. but him being there wasnt out of the norm.. as if he was taxidermied... when i went to sit down to eat.. he got up and we all freaked out.. he started yelling and hitting my mom.. i grabbed an axe and decapitated him.. i went insane after killing my dad and went into an apartment complex where i started decapitating everyone that answered the door when i knocked... i think it was my 4th victim.. she answered the door and i killed her and her head rolled to my feet.. she then looked at me laughing saying i could never kill her... WTF! i had this dream bout 3 yrs ago and i still remember it as if i had it last night... ~on a side note.. my father passed when i was 3~

When a dream text mentions eating or food, it is usually caused by a digestive problem. A bad indigestio or food poisoning can cause violent dreams like yours. However other psychological upsets could ahve also affect the dreams. Perhaps the excessive violence was the surprise element in the dream as normally you're not a violent person. Cheers Wolfjk

In dreams the various characters each represent an aspect of our inner self, each character may then me a symbol and metaphor so don’t worry you aren’t some mass murderer wishing your father or others dead.
In this dream it’s probable that father is not your father but your association to ‘Father’. What does Father mean to you? Take some time to write out you associations, your thoughts on father, mother, and neck... Ask yourself what does it means to cut of one’s head? For example the head contains the brain which thinks. The body the heart which feels… To cut off the head can mean that there may be a disconnect between your thinking and feeling. Perhaps the disconnect may be in the ways you associate some Father (masculine) thinking or feeling to some Mother (feminine) thinking or feeling. I think this dream is worth spending some time with. Try not to get caught up judgments of good and bad and project that judgment into the outer world. Dreams want to awaken and bring back together what we have broken (beheaded?) or hidden from ourselves. |
