Distubing dream/nightmare

Hi guys,

New here. Glad I found this forum. I'm a pretty big dreamer, but they are usually happy or harmless and boring dreams. You know, about work, etc. Well, last night I watched a movie called Shoot Em Up, a kind of violent movie. Then, I had a pretty disturbing dream. I dreamed someone died...at my hand! I dreamed a friend of mine (who I saw last night in real life) convinced me to go to this guys house and break a pane of glass over his head. This guy who I broke the pain of glass over is dead in real life; he's been gone for over a year now, he died of an OD. Then I spent the rest of the dream with regrets and being scared. I woke up, and I just feel disturbed by this. I've never dreamed something like this before. Could it be due to the movie? It's kind of freaking me out that I would even dream something like this. Scary!
