If somebody could... please tell me what you think. I don't ordinarily have dreams like this, but when they do, something awful happens.
-x- I awaken without opening my eyes. I'm lying down upon a hard surface, and my body is completely chilled. At first, I think I've fallen out of bed and on to the floor in my bedroom, but when I open my eyes I'm not in my own home. I sit up on my arms and look around. I'm in a hallway with checkered tile and black walls. I seem to be at the end, for behind me is nothing but a pitch black wall. This hallway is very dimly lit with flickering lights on a high ceiling. I take in a deep breath, fully aware of the fact that I am dreaming. At that moment, I get a hard wiff of what smells like swamp gas. I hear my mother call out to me, whom I haven't seen in many days. I miss her deeply, and I just want her home with me again. When I hear her call for me, I panic, and I look around. She's standing at the end of the hallway, in the dark, holding a white candle. I take a few steps towards her, but with every step the hallway grows longer. Frustrated, I break out into a run, demanding that since it is my dream, the hallway stay still. My mother freezes in place, but when I reach her, she disappears. There's a child's voice in my head. It says, "Ha ha, got you." Instinctively, I dropped down to the floor and began to weep. The voice in my head keeps repeating over and over, soon breaking off into laughter. The laughter multiplies into the voices of many children, getting louder, getting closer. I start to panic. When I look back up, the walls are coated with faces. These faces have eyes and noses, but their mouths are taped over with white tape. The laughing just gets louder. I try to take a step, but the floor beneath me falls away, and I find myself standing on black. Small, childlike hands reach out from the walls, all completely pitch black save the pale fingernails. They grab at my clothes and at my limbs, each one feeling like hot metal being pressed against my skin. Again, I panic, I start to run, but they have my legs. They're pulling me under. I can't feel anything but painful heat. I scream desperately for my mother, but she doesn't come. Once, twice, three times. She doesn't appear before me, and I do not wake up, which is unusual for me. So I scream for my father, twice. Still nothing. By the time I get to my third call for my father, my head is completely engulfed in the black. I can still feel the hands tearing at me, reaching inside of my chest and going out the back, burning so deeply... I try to scream, but I can't breath. When I decide to give up, I awaken. -x- When I woke up, and now as I type this, there are many red marks on my right arm which, in my eye, resemble fingers. I'm just... scared to go back to sleep. I've had physical dreams before, but nothing that intense. Anybody, please, give me a hint of insight.

Quote:
There are some questions in your dream! What is your relationship with your mother? Has she left your dad? Your dream indicates some psychological hurt you suffered lately. You go to sleep thinking about what happened to you and your subconscious replies with the dream. Have you any problems with your diet, eating? Your subconscious creates a dream to help you. Quote:
