Hello.
I need some help. About 6 months ago I started have nightmares about zombie takeover. At first they happened one twice a month but within the last month and a half they've progressivly gotten worse. Now there about twice a week and I've had two in a row this week. In the dreams I'm never bitten or attack just scared shitless. Last night I dreampt I was back in high school [I've been out for two years] and I was there with a very good friend of mine who didn't even go to the same school as me. I was a classroom I never had with a teacher I never had. Over the loudspeaker the made an anouncement to turn the news on which informed us that we were under seige by zombie. They rounded all the kids up together and tried to keep us safe. I was upset that I was at the school where of course no weapons were kept and in my dream I knew there were zombies attacking people in the school but had not seen it with my own eyes. And at one point I ran across a bowl laying in the hallway packed with pot and grabbed it up to calm my nerves. These dream are always differant places but same idea. It always early on in the zombie epidemic and I'm still alive and unscathed but terrified. I wake up from these dreams parazlyed with fear. As ridicouls as it is I look out my window to make sure the undead are not walking the streets, turn the news on, and search google on my ********** for zombie attacks. This is odd and frightening to me because I loooove zombie movies but the scare the beejeebies out of me and I've always had a fear of zombies happening in real life. I've also never really had nightmares or reoccurring dreams. I getting very paranoid. I don't want to go to sleep for fear of these dream and the slightest noise makes me jump. I terried that these dreams are a warning of the onset of zombie. I know its redicously but I'm ready to go buy again. I can describe the fear I have that these dreams are going to come true. I've been reading around the web about what they mean and unfourtunatly ran into so zombie sites that insist zombies attacks are real, have happened, and probably will ago along with zombies werewolves and other bumps in night. I wanna know what they mean and how to stop them. I've read a lot about the meaning behind zombies and got a lot of differant answers so maybe a bit of backround info will help you help me. My fiance is incarcerated currently he gets out in two weeks and is serving a 90 day sentence drug charges from almost year ago. Sence then he's turned his life around and I couldn't be happier. I have a very stressed relationship with my family and haven't spoken to anybody in almost 2 years expect for my grandmother who has alzheimers that I care for but about 6 months she had to go to a nursing home and hasn't been able to come home. Once my fiance comes home I am going to move her into my home and resume careing for her. I've also been having so financial diffuculties with my fiance be gone. I'm unemployed and plan on enrolling in college as soon as I'm married because I have to be able to claim an independant staus. You could say I'm frustrated, bored perhaps, and stressed but very soon these things will change and overall I am a happy person. Also I've also always had a funky sleep scheduele. There are nights I wont fall asleep til 6,7,8am. I'm sure that can be helping. I don't get why I'm having these dreams I'd like to know why and moreso, how to make them stop. My fiance says to wake myself up but I can't and I've tried thinking "happy thoughts" before bed. I'm considiring takeing otc sleep aides to try and surpress them. Either that or I'm about to develop a drinking problem. I would do ANYTHING to make them stop. And that's no exagertion. If someone said if I amputate your arm without any anthesia and they woud stop I wouldn't even think twice about. Please please please help me. I'm despreate and starting to think I'm going nuts and need a therapist. [Another thing I've been considering] again,, please help me. Please. |

i truely wish i could help. I have a simliar problem. i have dreams about Zombies and other things. generally just massive amounts of nightmares. Very jumpy and all that.
i would think that with everything you posted about what is going on in your life that you are just stressed and scared. Scared of what the future truely holds whether it be zombies or what happens wit your fiance or what happens with your grandma. That even though you seem ok (unbitten or scratched) there is chaos and pain and urgency around you. just a thought. I hope you dreams of zombies do go away. maybe when you fiance gets out and can move your grandma in you will feel better. goodluck |

Hi,
Quote:
If you're watching/playing computer games, they will impact on your dreams. They will cause you to have Zomby dreams! Quote:
The human body is progemmed to a day/night cycle. Try to go to bed at a more civilised hour! 10PM. Finally, you should not expect your fiance to change his habits or his lifestyle. Cheers Wolfjk

IT was an epademic and we had to get away to a safe area were we could be protected. At first i was in the middle of a crowd of zombies but i protected myself by saying im dead you cant hurt me and pretending i was a zombie. Then thats when i met up with people who i tried to escape with. I went to ask a police office if he could help us but he looked sick. then he slowly changed into a zombie. My friends in the dream i have never met before but we had to kill one because he was bitten and transforming too. I was ok We just started heading for the safe area before i woke up. I had this one just this week. and they have been happening more frequently.

Hey Nitauhhs
I had lots of zombie nightmares in a period of my life too, they could happen once a week . They were different but the main idea was the same: Zombies trying to take over the whole place, some friends survive, I remain perfectly healthy, although scared as hell and the locations are all confined spaces (the one at a mine was the scariest of them all D= . ). But then they started to lose scariness and stopped after a while. I remember that they appeared around my parents divorce, now. So Aly_baby's interpretation really suits me in my case. Perhaps in your case these zombies are past demons that still haunt you. That's why you are scared but healthy, nonetheless. The only comfort I can give you is that you know you are safe besides adversities. As you can see other people also dreamt with zombies and where still here and sane (... or am I You could also try to change your diet, taking a bath and hear some relaxing music before going to bed, relaxing stuff. Please, try that before amputing a leg <=) |
