Default Demonic Wolf eating my beating heart...

Nightmare -noun - a terrifying dream in which the dreamer experiences feelings of helplessness, extreme anxiety, sorrow, etc.

There is something that has haunted me since I was a child -- specifically, a demonic wolf. Back then, I lived in a small dirty town somewhere in central Florida. My family had plenty of problems at the time, location being one of them. My parents argued, my brothers and I were constantly fighting and raising havoc, and my oldest brother was just thrown out of the house for breaking and entering our own house. I was a minority where I lived. We were the only white family in the neighborhood, and consequently I had no friends back then, no matter how hard I tried. It was a lonely and depressing life, especially for a child. I was a perfect host for a demon.

I remember vividly how to re-summon it. It was easy, so easy it was unavoidable. When I lay my head down, i can hear or feel my heartbeat. I did everything possible to try not to hear it, but the only way to avoid this horrid ritual was to not sleep. In the dark of the night, when it nears 3:00 a.m., my heartbeat would always speed up. The sound of my speeding heartbeat that I so preciously hated was the moment the demon would come racing to me.

I don't know exactly how big it is in specific, but it is always twice my size or bigger. It's mouth always big enough to swallow my head whole, though it never opened its mouth -- beyond growling -- that I ever had the chance to see. It's fur was pitch black and spiky. The fur moves constantly like grasslands under a gentle breeze. I always knew when it was near, because I always felt the souls trapped inside it's ribcage, the anguish and terror that echoed from it's black aura, rippling off from it's fur. His eyes glowed red, as if a flame the color of blood emanated from it's eye sockets. His teeth were a bright white, making the snarling drool drip profoundly, and splash with a sizzling anger to the ground, eating away at the carpet like a horrid acid. It's claws were twice as long as a normal wolf, and black as it's heart - perfect for digging through flesh.

The recurring dream had happened to me so many times over the years. It used to be a daily occurrence for many years of my childhood. It would always start at the window. I would hide behind my curtains, poking my eyes out for it, searching for it, praying that it would not come. Only rarely did it not show, just enough to always give me hope, so that it may continuously crush it, along with my spirit and soul. It would always appear instantly, sitting like a normal dog would, not angry, just sitting and staring directly at me from 200 yards away. Always under that damned light post. It wanted me to see it clearly. In an instant, it would charge. At this point I only had enough time to try to take shelter under my blanket. It passes through the window like a ghost, and it's breath would chill the room instantly. It only attacked my back. The pearl black claws shredded and tore through my skin and ribcage, peeling them back as easily as the blanket it ripped off from me. It's teeth always sank into my shoulder blade, biting and snarling, ripping it inconveniently out of the way. Now it's feast began. The heart, laying exposed and pumping rapidly at it's lips. The ice cold breath sent shrieks from me that seemed to echo through the whole house. It's tongue lightly grazes my helpless heart as the teeth slowly sink into it. The vividness of everything, from the scent of it's wet-dog smelling fur to the cracking of the ribs, and the squirting of the ripped arteries were beyond realistic for a child's mind. Open heart surgery is the closest anyone will ever experience. The pain and the fear... I could feel every scratch, and every crack and spurt. I could feel every tooth and drip of saliva destroying me, driving me mad. At 3:00 a.m. my blood-curdling shrieks and cries would awaken my parents. Doctors or specialists were something that the family could not afford.

It all started when I was around 7. I am 25 years old now. Looking back on it, I know it wasn't just a nightmare. It was a haunting. It was something, something more. I eventually came to the realization that it was just a dream. Why? Because I could see my own face, as if I were from a camera's point of view. Over time, I realized that in these dreams, I only saw from my point of view, or the demon's point of view, not a camera's.

I have far more details about my hiding, exploits and fights against it, even though the dream always ended the same. If you wish to hear more, then contact me please.

I am now a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. I am pursuing a degree in Information Technology, and an active volunteer in my community. I am an everyday normal person. But, in a mind full of logic and scientific approaches, I have recently been humbled by Satan's wolf once more...

I was working as a security officer at a manufacturing company. It was an easy job that required simple patrols every hour or two. It was almost time to change posts, and I was getting ready to head outside. I was updating my replacement with the boring stats of the day, when suddenly a small dog ran in front of the glass doors on the outside. It was the middle of winter. I froze in mid sentence and looked at him superstitiously. "Did you see that?" People walking in and out, and two officers staring in the same exact damn direction, and I was the ONLY one to see it. Nightmares and hallucinations are two different ball games. Trying to convince myself, I said that it was nothing. But I felt the demon's presence; a feeling I have only rarely felt in my dreams over the last two decades. Far too bitter cold for a pup or miniature dog to be running around outside, I stepped out cautiously. My eyes stayed peeled, and I could sense the damn thing everywhere. It was close.

To this day, as a direct consequence to this occurrence, I can not stand the thought of being attacked from behind. I would rather take 10 bullets to the chest than to be stabbed in the back once. I am always quick to spin around and face anything I may feel as a threat head on. Well, that cold night, I span around a lot. Even in the windy cold, I could smell the scent of the wolf nearby. Something raced out of the corner of my eye, and under a trailer, under a dark and cold hiding place. It watched me as I finished my patrol. The feeling of being watched is a universal feeling. A presence that is near is also universal. Something watched me. Hell, it could have been a rabbit. But when a small dog from nowhere runs about, trailing barks behind him, and disappearing under the dark hiding spot of Satan's beast, the barks ended abruptly. I went back inside quickly afterwords.

This is all based on true life experiences. It is not fake or fictional, and is far from over-dramatized. Thank you for reading...

Hi baker9066,
What an horrific, traumatic time you have had! I agree that you are being attacked by a demon. You may find IrisRavenstar's advice in "White Light Shielding" very useful, also my first post in "Banish the demons / shadow people".
Take care
Indigo
