| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

As far back as I can remember I've always had nightmares about running from a tornado! It's so REAL and terrifying!!! At least once a month I have it, and it's not always the same plot. I'm always running outside through fields, and yards of neighbors trying to find a ditch or a house with a basement for shelter/cover. Sometimes the tornado is huge... other times it's dark and I can only hear it coming, and sometimes there are several tornadoes at once! I also dream about going into a building or a house to take cover just in time for the twister to pick up the house. I then feel the vibration of the wind twisting us (me & my daughter or sometimes just me)! I hear the glass shatter then the floor disappears. I get so sick & dizzy... all i do is pray that I survive.... Then I wake up.
I think this is just a big fear I have, but why does it haunt me continuously?? I wish it would stop! |

The above quote indicates that you do get sick and dizzy in your sleep and that causes your dreams. My guess is that some foodstuff causes you to have migrain in your sleep and when the headache comes on, you need the tornado dream to wake you up. Try to check what you eaten or done the day before the dream. Also check how you feel after the dreams. You may be able to solve the problems. Cheers Wolfjk
