I felt like being shocked with an electric current

This is probably the first time ive ever actually felt a sort of pain while dreaming, but it wasnt pain. I'll explain the dream

In this dream I had a little brother (im actually an only child) who was playing with the electrical chord to a lava lamp in my room, suddenly the chord snapped, but the electrical current was still flowing through it. It began to spark whenever the positive and negative ends were combined. He thought this was pretty cool so he started to play around with it. I then felt like this could be dangerous, so I took the chord from him and wrapped it around my waist to go throw it out in the trash can outside.

half way to the trash can, completely out of my train of thought, unexpectedly (which is weird because Ive never been surprised by something before in a dream, Ive always expected it to happen) the electrical chord around my waste sent out a huge electric shock that lasted for about 5 seconds or so and i was sent unconscious to the floor. After I regained consciousness, I actually woke up in real life.

It was a mix of pain, and well, what I can only assume would feel like if an electric current was running through your body at an extreme level. It felt so real, but when I woke up, there was nothing.

He's either a brother, a child for you, or a grandchild to come or someone you will meet/ someone who's coming/coming into your life arena. The electrical shock (I've had it happen) I believe comes when we touch someone in the spirit form in our dream. They don't have to be on the other side (dead or waiting to come), they can be someone alive, but visiting via spirit via the dream.

Lava lamps being older, (worked in an antique shop) sometimes do present shock danger. There's something about the metal part contributing to shock hazard.

So when you find yourself in a room with that approximate child AND a lava lamp, don't let them touch it. Take it outside to the garage or put it up and make sure the cord is properly replaced. Don't risk using it.

I think it's a wonderful little warning dream to help you protect that child which will be in your care, even if only as the adult in the room.
