Hello, last night i had a dream except it felt too real as I remember the thought paths I had eg. what if i open the door a tiny bit, oh my god.panic it is too strong.. and having to fight it.
So i got into a wooden elevator with my little sister, the attendant pressed the button to go up it didnt work, she got out (had ginger bobbed hair, had body like an ostrich) and tried to shut the door properly when a black feathered demon entered the lift, we saw it coming but couldnt press the button to go in time. it was just a big pear shape and had liek a daffy duck orange beak which didnt stick out. The lift was shooting up and a skull appeared, i cant remember the other object, just a head. Anyway, eventually I was in my mums room upstairs and my three sibling were under the cover of my mums bed. The demon ran up the strairs from the darkness and I stabbed it, it went away. Then I heard a shuffling from down stairs so I didn't open the bedroom door but there was no noise so i thought i should ope the door i tiny bit but it was too strong and the demon forced its way in, i attacked it, stabbing it, and pulled its heart out through its mouth, i went downnstaris to the front door to throw the heart in white blubber away after folding it over three times. It came to attack me behind the porch doors. The third time, it was on the landing outside the bedroom, stabbed it again with a small knife that does exist in my house (all little things like this made it seem real) and i got it on the floor and had the knife through its jaw, pulled its heart out again its eyes rollling back as it choked on my had.. when it had turned into the litttle sister who was in immense physical pain with blood around her mouth (who i travelled in the elevator with) but I chucked it out of the room anyway. As I started to come awake, i heard the same shuffling at the bottom of the stairs (this is real) i figured it was my other sister leaving for college but i was so paranoid. I had a dream after of being shot at with arrows as part of a uni outing which was painful, once i fell form the tree after being shot in the back , then tried to hide in a little plastic childrens house but got shot at through the window which i couldnt reach to close. I woke up incredibly tired. My friend tells me that me and my family are being targeted by a demon |

Well thats her religious opinion and I think you need help if you take it literally (not you personally, just generally speaking!) I didn't cast off what she said, I accepted it as not literally a demon, but as a bad happening/force/occurrence. And no I didn't obsess myself with notions of nasties coming to get me, achieves nothing as you said. Thanks for your reply

I wouldn't toss out the advice of your friend so easily. The spiritual world continues even as we sleep. It's easy to say demons don't exist or even the devil doesn't exist because "if" they are real then we need to deal with them--and that may be something we don't want to do or are incapable of doing. Maybe you should talk with your sisters and see if perhaps a spirit is also bothering them...think about your past, is this the first dream, or were there others?
I used to dream about a tall skinny man with a long slippery tongue -- it turned out the same "man" had appeared to my aunts and my dad. Things begin to make sense when we stop denying the spiritual and begin to ask questions. |

Hi, Do not be afraid of scary dreams. It is just your sleeping mind getting in touch with you so that you will remember the dream when you wake up. It seems to have worked and now you wonder what it all means.

Hello,
I don't know if you are a Christian or not as it seems on the post most people may be agnostic or athetis. Bascially any dream where you are being attacked by demons you should take it for real. As the last poster stated demons and the devil is real. I want you to do try something the next time you have this kind of dream. Call on the name of Jesus. Just call out to Jesus and ask him to save you from this beast. I can GURANTEE that you will begin to feel power in your dream when you call on him and the demons will flee. Then you will know that God is Real and NO demon or devil can stand up to Christ. He has dfeated them already so they know what it is. Trust me. |

Hello natstinytown123,
Since this dream about the demon was so real to you, it could be classed as a Lucid Dream. You say you remember the "thought paths" you had in the dream, or should I say nightmare, because it sounds like a combination of both. Let me assure you, you and your family are NOT being targeted by demons as you seem to fear. Dreams don't work that way so forget that thought. You had a bad dream, which may have come from something you have been stressed about, some worry maybe about how it could affect your mom and sisters. You start out feeling helpless and try to hide. The elevator is an indicator of your shifting moods and feelings, shooting up one moment and down the next. Pressing the button to make it go or stop is not working. Does this situation ring true in your every day waking life? (something to ask yourself, because that could be the cause of the nightmare). It just looks like there is some problem you don't want to face, a situation going on right now that you are hiding from and want to avoid dealing with. The dream wants to draw your attention to this problem so you can solve it. The knife represents you cutting to the heart of this problem to deal with it once and for all.
