I have always had lucid dreams, but never, ever like this one. For a few moments after awaking my entire body was numb, and I was so groggy I couldn't move. I am 37 (in case that is important). I dreamt I was 2 separate women in this dream, and each one was beaten and stabbed repeatedly. I remember each blow, and with each blow/stab a sense of relief, because it would sever feeling in my body, so I wouldn't be in pain. The first woman died (I died). The second woman lived, and dragged herself down a road, so she could be found. The second woman went on to sign on to testify in a court case against the man (ring leader) who did beat/stabbed her (I was the woman). I remember him pulling up in a burgundy monster truck at the police station, and I saw it through the glass window, and crouched down on the ground becasue I was so scared. This is debilatating! I am desperate for advice and insight! Thank you!

It could very well mean that because of the actions of someone in your life (the man in the dream), you have shed a part of your old self in exchange for a newer one. Perhaps it means that you have gotten stronger since the first woman dies but the second, newer one does not. You might be leaving a stage in your life and are now heading towards the next.
I think that this dream is telling you either that you need a renewal in your life, or that you recently had one. Maybe you should relive this dream in your mind. See if you can find something interesting with these women or their surroundings. Maybe you can see yourself in them, or maybe they are similar in some ways? If the first woman (the one who dies) has a quality that the second woman does not, or vice versa, it can mean that you should either give up on something, or gain something. For example better self confidence, more courage or less anxiousness. I am not good at interpreting dreams, so please forgive me if you feel that nothing I said makes sense. Also, as English is not my native language there may be a few errors in the grammar or some typos. Please bear with me. I hope you find your answer. |

Your dream tries to keep you asleep for as long as possible but when the pain or discomfort becomes too great, the dream wakes you up. The "burgundy monster truck" was the waking element in your dream. Cheers Wolfjk
