is this a bad omen?

I keep having horrific nightmares about an ex boyfriend who I dont think about or talk to anymore. We broke up badly and I told him i never really gave a **** about him in the first place (which was true, we went out for a week, then he got arrested and was in jail for a month then pops back up at my house when he got released thinking we were still together.)
So he threatend to kill me. He lives in colarodo now, so im not worried about it but I keep dreaming about him. All my dreams are him trying to kill me or do some harm to me. I dont even think about him until i have the dreams. Is this like an omen or something? Im starting to really get freaked out.

You need to forgive him for whatever it might be that he has done in the past no matter what it is.maybe that is not what you want to hear but when you simply forgive someone,it sets you free. when we choose to curse our enemies,truely,it only hurts YOU and comes back on you. simply forgive even if not talking to him in person just speak it out,,,mean it and it will set you free ....
to forgive is divine...we all work with one infinite law...and that is the law of attraction...our thoughts become things...what we think comes back to us...if we bless our enemies...blessings come back to us...choose good thoughts no matter what it is and watch things change for you...simply forgive him,let it go and youll be free...
