Default Dreaming of monsters and immense, terrifying spaces.

I guess I'm not seeking help so much as reactions, maybe advise. I've always had nightmares, since I was a little girl.

Most recently, I've been dreaming of monsters. The last one was immense- so tall that I couldn't see it's head or top, well above the trees; it was almost human-shaped, bipedal, and looked as if it were made of metal or shiny dark purple and blue scales. It moved very quickly for something it's size, and I knew it was there to destroy everything it saw.

Last night, I dreamed of another monster- very tall, very thin, and wearing a black shroud. For a face and head, it has an antelope skull, which changes, grows muscle, but no skin, and a third eye appears a little to the right of it's empty, left eye socket. It reaches up a twisted, human hand, perhaps to scratch at it's face or beckon you, and then suddenly you realize, you and the thing are standing alone in an immense tunnel. You don't know how long the tunnel goes on, because it takes a downward turn and turns into darkness, but you know it goes on forever, and if you fell into the tunnel, you would fall forever.

I woke myself up after I saw it, because I was so frightened that I didn't want to know what it would do. And so, like many other nights, I am afraid of going to sleep and dreaming.

Hi,
Why should you be terrified of dreams when they're dreamt to help you?
Your dreams of monsters are probably influenced by the various monster movies on the go.
Your dream indicates that you need to move your head and neck in your sleep. The dream is trying to make you look upwards: The last one was immense- so tall that I couldn't see it's head or top, well above the trees

The above quote indicates that you're burning the candle at both ends and you're still very sleepy in the morning and need matchsticks to prop your eyelids open! In short you need a monster dream to wake you up!
Cheers Wolfjk

Awesome dream imagery. Sounds like pretty full on nightmares Honestly though, I hope you stop having them if you don't like them, or find a way of making them stop half way through etc.

Thank you for replying, everyone! I never thought I might need to move my head or my neck! And you're completely right about being tired in the morning, I never thought about it like that.

And my nightmares are pretty rich- I could make novels out of them, lol.

I think the same thing about some of mine; take a look at some of my posts (the ones with dates on them which are my dreams). I must say your dreams have more imaginative stuff than most of the ones I read on here.

I believe you are seeing a real demonic or evil spirit in your dream. Pray before going to bed asking Jesus Christ to protect you from all harm and danger and to protect your dreams from all evil spirits.
