Default My Vivid Nightmare. Help?

Hi, i'm not that new to forums but i'm very new to advice. I currently experience this re-occurring nightmare which has gained in frecuency over the last few months, I don't know if its down to stress or not, but its pretty vivid. Apparantly discussing you're problems helps so I apologise in advance. I'm losing sleep over it and i'm just curios to know what you all think.

Here goes nothing...

The dream starts within a field of endless grey grass, the sky and everything in the world is colourless, all is silent. I find myself walking aimlessly with a very strong sense of confussion and loss. As I walk further it feels as if my mind has skipped a chapter of the dream, and I now find myself in the company of hundreds of soldiers all of them walking as aimlessly as I. I try my hardest to speak to these ghostlike men, but all they do is walk. All of the soldiers bare a saddened look upon their faces.

Just like before my brain skips a chapter and moves to a completely different setting. This time I find myself waking up in an unfamiliar bed, although it still feels like it belongs to me. The room is small and made from wood. Outside the sky is on fire and screams flood the air. Suddenly the light fades and a horrible, horrible silence fills the room. I feel two heavy hands smash down upon my shoulders, trapping me on the bed.

I can't seen my attacker's face, just these blank, purple eyes. The attacker's breathing is deep and heavy, like a large animals. Its so real i could almost smell his breath. I scream out but no one hears my call. The only reply is the voice of my attacker.

"It didn't work, It wouldn't work"

The yellowish teeth lunge at me from the darkness and I find myself in the same damn state I do most nights.

Any response would be a help

Aiden.

It seems like you & Euroman27 have a very similiar dream...

Let me ask you, are you a believer in Christ?

The reason I ask, is because it says in the bible that when the "end" times are NEAR many people will have similar dreams of the End of our world.

I noticed you both have soldiers in your dream & people are searching for something important for survival>>FOOD?

If you are a follower of Christ he will guide you through tough times in the future or atleast make the ending a painless one as possible.

Hi,
It is likely that you suffer from some depression, however sometimes it is not recognised and shows up only in dreams.

The scene from the dream describes how you sometimes feel in waking life. I don't know your family circumstances but I suspect something happened that brought on the stress.

This part of the dream is called "sleep paralysis" It is brought on by stress and certain sleeping positions.
There are many threads on this forum, in the "nightmares"section, and on "dream interpretations. I will give you some links and you can read about them.
Here is a link to a thread further down this section:read this
and on dream interpretation:read this long thread
However you can dismiss the religious and "end of world crap" you see. There is a logical reason why you sense a presence. It is to do with the subconscious mind and nothing sinister.
Cheers Wolfjk

Hello, I'm glad I saw this post. First, I think you're dream is either a past life or maybe another demension or world? I think some people dream in other deminsions or worlds and we go there sometimes when we sleep and are completely different people.
As for the reason I'm glad I came across this, I dream of a world that is vibrant and happy and all of a sudden it gets sad and dull and colorless, the world ends or is coming to an end. I know soldiers but not a bunch of them, I'm not as close to the fighting. But as for the monster I don't know. Though being strapped down in a bed and being attacked seems familiar. I was tortured in one of my dreams. IDK, maybe you'll think I'm insane. All the same, if you'd like to talk about it, respond or PM me.
P.S. Where is the username from?

Funny to be mentioned in another person's post. Anyway I often have had the fealing being in situation where one says "Oh did you dream this".

But anyway many of the wird and scary stuff I have seen in my dreams, I hope they don't become reality. because then humanity is f*cked

Aiden the problem is, almost every night, you are visited by this demon, it actually is pining you down, in real life you said you can practically, smell his breath it is breathing over you.

If this happens again, this is what i want you to do.

Say these words: Of the name of Jesus Christ Begone!

This should work.

What if it's not a Christian demon?

Default best shot

Well I'll try to help.Maybe you feel like that a part of your life has nolife in it and maybe ths soldiers represent a part of yourself that is brave but sad because this unfilled desire you have is not taking place. And for the attacker that just fear that if your try this new desire that it won't work out for you or you'll fail.Well don't worry about that.As for what this desire is, look back at your life and really go back in your head and find that something that my have bothered you for not trying it out.As long as its not lethal
