walking around a destroyed City(The future?)

I had a simular dream to this. I live in a small village in Denmark and 33 km from here there is city where there live around 250.000 people.

Oh well in this dream I am walking over the bridge which connects the two parts of that city, and looking ahead. I see that many buildings are either burning or destroyed. I look for people but there aren't any. I am wearing a millitary uniform and have a riffel in my hand. I come to fountain and there lies a wounded soldier, first I think he is dead, but then he turns to me and says "We never thought they would come, We never thought they would come". "Who would come, Who" I answer him. With his last remain strength he points to the sky "THEM".
I turn my head, but fails to see anything, because my alarmclocks sounds and I am woken up.
What are your thoughts???
I didn't watch either Science Fiction movie or believe in Aliens, but this was a strange dream.

this is a tough one! these are just some idea's
i think maybe some intense emotional things going on or a lot on your mind and maybe seeing the fountain is something that you're looking for to make thing's better or make you feel better seeing death usually means an end or termination again going back to the fountain looking for these emotional things to come to an end the only thing i can maybe think of for the aliens or sky is something good happening soon or something you're looking forward too..i'm just taking a guess hopefully some of this was helpful!
