| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

I remember falling asleep in my bed one night, but i soon "awake" and see a set of eyes staring at me, no face, just a shadow. I ran down my hallway, This shadow proceeded to follow me. So i hide behind the recliner in my living room, then a few moments later i wake up behind the recliner as my dad is picking me up.
Anyone wanna help me on this? Does this mean anything? why would i still remember this? I still remember other dreams also.. like trying to race Sonic the hedge hog....haha. |

Hi,
Dreams of immatured children is about their parents and girls is about their mother. A hedge hug means a bad moral man.

I have heard that the dreams of children age 5 and under often have little or no symbolic meaning. Were you scared of the dark, by any chance?
Also, I have heard of a state of consciousness in which you are not fully awake or asleep. When you are in this state, the odds of hallucinating are much higher. I suspect you may have been semi-conscious, and the shadow was a hallucination. (If you were semi-awake, this might also help explain why you still remember the dream; I remember very little about most of my dreams, while I have a great memory of real life events.) |

The shadow you saw is a demon or an evil spirit.
