Again, hopefully this might be amusing reading. I wrote it down at the time in the 3rd person tense for some reason. The 'main character' is in his early 20s.
A guy you meet is friendly and seems quite normal and when you bump into him for the 3rd time or so you hang around with him for a bit. You walk through couple of large rooms with him just off the street and you realise he's a Nazi due to all the memorabilia around these rooms. I don't take this seriously at first and think he's just eccentric, but later in the day, after hanging around with him for a couple more hours I realise that he and his friend(s) actually beat people up and even kill people. I'm scared shitless of them but pretend to go along with them until after they have beaten some people up and return to his flat to wash hands. He tells me to carry the NES [nintendo] (which is evidence for some reason) and I offer to take it in my bag. He gets angry when I at first say I don't really want to take it and then I just take it. My plan at this stage is to run away from them to the police at a select time. When we leave the flat only a couple of minutes after getting there I follow the two guys running off, but at an opportune time I sneak off while they run on in a different direction, and I run straight to a policeman whom I tell to get backup and that I have been with 2 people who are armed with guns and are killers. The two guys are on the run and can't work out where to go. They run right to the coast at a clifftop and in liew of any other options they jump off of the cliff over to the water below. They are both wearing plastic monster masks, one blue, and one green (the main bad-guy). We see the lead-bad guy jumping into the water and going down a long way, down to about 75 feet where he narrates "my head hurt and I felt almost total paralysis". We then see him struggle to swim up and he clearly doesn't have the strength to swim up from this depth. We think he will die here but he and his friend flash their torches and are only a few metres apart, and his friend directs him to the ladders a couple of metres away aside the man-made wall at this part of the coast by the cliff. The lead bad guy says to his friend "how far is it?" his friend says "x feet" and he says "ok, we can do that" and they begin rapidly pulling themselves up the ladders, and when at the top they have to bust through manhole covers. The lead bad guy busts through the main manhole cover and there is enough room for him and his friend. They take deep breaths of air now at the top, but a police detective is stood above them and says "take a deep breath" and pushes the manhole cover back down. This time they do have a little slot like a drain through which to breathe, and they stay like this hugging the drain for air until the police are ready to take them out. |

I will return the favour if you don't mind, I love interpretting dreams. This is very funny, you must have a wonderful sense of humour.
The Nazi symbolism is new to me to interpret but I'm guessing that it means hatred and prejudice. I get the feeling that you used to or do hang out with a bad croud, and you follow them even though you know they are wrong. You will or did outgrow these people and mature, and see the error of your ways. The 2 bad guys wearing masks blue can mean: serenity, sensitivity, emotions, and cleansing, and green means healing and nature, and life. Not sure if that means anything to you or not? It does not fit with the theme of the dream but just thought you'd like to know what they mean. Water means emotions. The rest of the dream is something about seeing others taking a leap of faith and falling head on into their emotions and you don't like it. You feel like it is an easy way out and their way of escape. The poralyisis part might relate to the above, and you may have been somewhat aware of the poralysis you experience when asleep. Feeling unable to move. The rest is like you are feeling like you helped justice be done in a situation in some area of your life. |

Thankyou for your suggestions. You're right that there is a distinctly humourous element to the final scene; I've always had a silly sense of humour : ) The nazi symbolism definitely was there to imply these guys were bad news and were violent criminals; probably them being nazi's was the most obvious way for my brain to communicate this to me as an individual. Also you're dead right about having used to hang out with a slightly bad crowd despite not being that way myself, and having some lingering memories/feelings about this, (although they weren't bad in terms of committing bad crimes like the characters in this dream; as so often, dreams can be very hyperbolic : ) ).
I personally don't think the blue/green colours are important in that respect, or the water, but certainly the paralysis thing is probably related to such feelings sometimes in sleep. To elaborate more on the scene, it was a sunny day in the afternoon with a blue sky and the two bad guys were running along with full head rubber masks on, both with monster faces. One happened to be a green monster head and the other a blue one; I'm not sure if these colours are important or not, but I definitely don't think they are to do with serenity or anything in this context. The run along the top of a high cliff in this blue summer afternoon and jump off into the sea, which happens to be very deep right off the edge of the cliff. They jump into the water but since they use the underwater ladder to climb up again, the only way out is through a manhole cover. The water however is quite a peacefull element and there is an odd serenity to the scene despite the bad guys being in a potentially fatal situation and nearly drowning.
