Recurring Nightmare

I've been having the same theme in lots and lots of my nightmares, and by nightmares I mean sleeping. Seriously, whenever I sleep I have a bloody night terror and often wake up screaming and in a cold sweat.

the recurring theme is this:
Although the content of the nightmares varies slightly, it happens always in dark, derelict areas of city. I'm always on my own. Then, I come across another person, but they're not right. They start like...vomitting this black sticky goo, a bit like crude oil. And then it gets worse, and the black stuff starts like pouring from every potential orifice: eye sockets, ears, nose, sometimes even their pores. The black stuff starts going everywhere in the room i'm in, all up the walls and ceiling and floor and starts dripping everywhere and everything. Then, normally, a secondary character appears and pushes me/does something to me that makes me fall over into the black stuff. Then, the stuff starts to go all over me, and down my throat. Then, the secondary character normally punches me or stomps on my face, and that's always when I wake up.

Although I live on my own, this has become a serious problem for me as I can't sleep anymore. I was wondering if anyone here could shed some light on what it could mean, incase I could rectify it.

Petroleum; Crude oil
Petroleum is interpreted as affected to life.
If one dreamt was rubbing petrol on his body means he will sleep with a corrupt woman, or will eat something immoral.
Petroleum may also mean:1- a wicked woman 2- a tale-bearer man 3- immoral money.


If one dreamt vomited and it was blood means he will have a big loss.
If dreamt vomited and easily threw up means he will feel sorry for sins , if couldn't throw up means a disaster and a big loss.

thanks...you sound like you've either got a ridiculous memory or a massive book of interpretations next to you.

hopefully some of those might help me...but i'd still appreciate any other responses that anyone else has

mines strange i had it for like 5 years it was midday and I was in a garage halfway past the door with sun still on my feet and i was standing completely still but suddenly i would fall and my head would hit the floor and i would bounce back and forth between my head and feet like a dropped baseball bat un able to move halfway done bouncing i would wake up with my legs still in the air please tell me what it means.

This is a very strange dream. My guess is that you have acid reflux in your sleep. It is when the digestive juices come up your throat and cause a burning sensation. It is a very unpleasant feeling.
Most often the acid reflux is caused by eating fatty and spicy food the previous day. However there is a medical condition that can also cause it.
If the dream reoccurres often you should consult your doctor. There are simple medicines that can help you.

now you come to mention it, it does burn when I swallow the black stuff. Thanks...i'll check that out.
