| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

I don't believe that my nightmares are a random product of my mind. The graphics are too well made. There is often a plot of sorts. My mind controlled actions in the dream match the imagery. Random brain activity would produce complete gibberish. Lots of people believe in spirits, I believe in telepaths/telepathic technology(you probably own a cellphone, is it really that strange to think that you could transfer thought through the air). Whether you call them spirits or telepaths or prefer the synthetic telepathy explanation I think we need to start confronting whoever is doing this to us. If you are willing to consider that nightmares may not be produced by random brain activity and think something should be done please consider responding to this post with ideas on how to go about this. Or just post an agreement so people get to read this.

Nothing can exactly be done about it.... its just one of those things in life, im not realy understanding your point your attempting to put across by whatever you think controls our nightmares but at the end of the day its scientificaly proven that it is just your subconscious mind while your asleep ^.^... and well thats just my view on what you say ofcourse but ok.

I understand the common scientific explanation of dreams. I don't agree with it. Random electomagnetic information looks like static on a television screen, or sounds like static on a radio. The imagery in my dreams is very well drawn. My brain produces well drawn imagery without any conscious thought? And why are my actions well controlled and matched to the imagery. For instance if it is a frightening dream I might experience the emotion of fear and that would be matched with frightening imagery. My brain does this automatically? Some of my dreams have plots. For example I might be going some where in one part of the dream and later I would get there. Even that little bit of a plot would suggest that whatever created my dream has a memory. It is possible that our brains are hardwired to write scripts with matching imagery but I don't think that that explains all dreams. I've studied the brain some and I haven't seen anything to suggest that a particular piece of brain tissue is in fact wired to automatically produce imagery and dreams. If you can point out a paper that thoroughly proves our brains are responsible with understanding of the neural code involved I'll give you your argument.
