| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

Hi! I just came upon these forums in hopes of receiving some help.
I've watched The Cell (a very creepy, surrealist movie) yesterday and just couldn't get to close my eyes for the past two nights, I mean i can sleep during daylight (I usually fall asleep around 7 a.m). I just can't get those sick, disturbing images off my head, so I end up being scared of falling asleep. I never get scared by horror films, except that this one went beyond the limits of what is defined as cruelty and terror. I'm 19 years old and obviously I feel like a total looser Much help appreciated! |

Hi holydiver,
I guess I should've of stopped watching it when It started freaking me out, huh... Good god, it's my third night sleeping with the light on lol. I just switched rooms, thinking it was going to solve something but nothing changed really. I'm gonna go with your advice and watch a bunch of sad, emotive movies to try to drain those disturbing images. Thanks a lot for your advice! I guess there's no need to see a psychologist then? |
