black butterfly

This dream confuses and scares me. Iv never had a dream like this before.I dont remember the begining very well except I was outside and I belive my mother was there.eventually I look up and it seems a black tornado is forming in the sky and the tail is coming down(I dont know if this would have anything to do with it but I am extremely scared of tornadoes as I once had a very tramatic experience with one). I watch the tornado for a minute and then suddenly something begins to form out of the side of it, a mass of black that soon turns in to a massive black butterfly. The butterfly then seems as if its getting larger and then I realize that its coming at me. I stay there and as it comes closer the tornado thats still in the sky forms into a giant black skull and crossbones. The butterfly then runs straight into me and as it does it bursts into hundreds of pieces floating around me and then they all fly into me as if im absorbing them. Right about then I woke up could someone please try to interpret this for me?

Butterfly means a weak ignorant man that will have a death danger.If one dreamt a butterfly flew away from his back and he didn't take it, means he will have sex with a virgin girl and will have a baby boy.If dreamt he killed the butterfly means there is a death danger for his child.

I believe that this is a dream of a change in the dreamer – a change of increased spirituality.

Storms, wind and such in a dream are usually signs of pneuma – the spirit.

In this dream, there is a black tornado and then a black butterfly. Both of these are black. So, what does black mean? Black could mean death, evil and everything bad – sort of like the dark side of The Force. That is possible and doesn’t sound too unreasonable but there is another possibility.

I often associate black with the underworld – the lower realm of the unconscious. This is why black cats can be positive images in dreams. They would symbolize the ability to travel to the darker realms of the unconscious – but, not for the purpose of evil but for good.

The spiral shape of the tornado reminds me of the caduceus, which is resembles kundalini.

The butterfly is what Jung would call a symbol of transcendence (where the dreamer goes beyond his or her normal self). And, as we know the butterfly is the end result of time spent as a caterpillar and in a cocoon. You – like the caterpillar – have begun to spread your wings and to take flight.
