Default losing my central vision?

I dreamt that my 16 year old sister was running for student body president. I am feeling anxious and I can’t understand why. I was standing next to her during the speeches and felt really dizzy and lightheaded and then out of nowhere I lost my central vision, like my peripheral vision was fine but right in the middle I had this big black hole, like tunnel vision but backwards. He said it's rare and wanted to know if I'd be apart of a study and I answered, "NO WAY! I don't want to be observed like a piece of meat at the deli counter."

I remember feeling really freaked out especially since I'm a writer and I love to read and I'm a musician and I need my vision to do all of those things. I went to the doctor and he told me I had central vision loss otherwise known as faceless syndrome or the black hole syndrome where people are just missing a face-size hole of their vision. I wondered how would I ever make eye contact with people or kiss my boyfriend or eat even... like what if I missed my mouth? Or wouldn't I run into things? How would I do homework?

People didn't know how to react and this guy (who in reality, I don't know all that well) offered to give me a hug and I shrieked and ran away. And then my sister was helping me pack to leave college because I don't think I could go anymore because of my condition.

I was terrified that I would never see people's faces anymore. That's the part that really spooked me. I tried to sleep that night and (for some reason I was alone at home) I was crying and called my best guy friend and asked him to come over and hold me so I could fall asleep. He did and I cried that I'd never get to see his face again and he was trying to comfort me. My worst fear in the dream was that no guy would ever love me and I'd be labeled a freak. Eventually though I fell asleep in his arms and I remember feeling safer and warm. But I woke up jittery and tingling.

(I have some ideas of what this means but really would like some insight!)

Hi,Don't worry it is about morals and ur belief.
If we assume your were partly blind In center of your vision, means you have put aside a central belief base.

If one dreamt he went blind means he is misled in morals. If dreamt one of his eyes was blind means he will give up half of his religion or will commit a big sin.*********8
If dreamt he took a blind man's hand means he is a believer and kind.
If dreamt he made someone blind means he will mislead him.
Blindness may also mean: 1- a sorrow 2- poverty 3- bad mood 4- a failure in his health 5- money 6- a corrupt moral. The Cow/18.

Good luck.

Hi,
The dream was about how you felt in the sleep.

It is probable that you actually felt dizzy in the sleep. My guess is that you were studying or reading too much, or had a late night. Your eyes were tired when you went to bed and that is the reason for your dream. However it is possible that these negative thoughts of losing your eyesight came into your mind while you slept and your subconscious made a drama out of it!
Falling in love can have similar effects! Have you a crush on someone?
Cheers Wolfjk

Wolfjk,
I never thought of it that way. Actually, this is helpful because this dream keeps occuring. I've had it several times in the past couple nights but with slight differences. Like last night, I actually made it to the train station after packing to leave from college and the train attendants (or whatever you call them) wouldn't sell me a ticket because of my condition.

I have been studying late at night so it probably means I need more sleep or my eyes need a break. I didn't think of it that way. And yes, there is a guy I like but I'm a little worried about telling him because we've been like best friends for years now and I don't want to ruin the friendship. [See the other post I've made about falling in love with my best friend for more details].

But actually this really helped me. Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
Carry on with your studies but give yourself some rest every so often!
I read your other post and it seems you're falling for your friend. It is not a bad thing to fall inlove, however I think you're you would like your studies to carry on. Use your judgement, you might be able to enjoy the best of both!
Cheers Wolfjk
