a clown tries killing me in a mansion.

OK so I had a dream I was in a big old house, maybe a mansion and I got the feeling in my dream of terror like the house was evil or haunted. a Clown tried to kill me in a stairwell to the basement. I think the clown was terrorizing the house like killing people who stayed there. In my dream I killed the clown and then I was playing a old video game like one I played as a child. the Video game looked like a old colecovision game the game was pacman but it had four screens you watch and control with the controller. my guy died in the game. and I do dream in color I remember the color of the clowns face was red black and white and his face was painted like a older clown from like the twenties, you know the kind on milk containers.

i woke up in a sweat. I very rarely wake up screaming but when i have a bad dream I wake up afraid that im still in the dream.

Can anyone help me grasp what this means.

mansion or big house means that you have lots of feelings going on right now, and are not in touch with them. stairwell=changes. basement=unconscioius, or below the surface. the clown represents your state of mind now, choas and the little boy represents living in freedom and without fear. you need to play more , you will come out on top againest your subconscious fears. the make-up may indicate that you are not seeing reality, and are making your opponent (fears or issues) to seem more powerful than he really is- a game.
