Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ;

Default Jolted awake every night.

I didn't know where to put this but since I'm jolted awake that maybe could qualify it for nightmare.

ok, so every single night with out fail, with in the first 5 mins i've fallen asleep I have this very short dream. I'm walking/skateboarding/running/rollerblading/doing anything that requires to move my momentum forward and suddenly I trip. My legs kick and I'm jolted away. Any clue into this? This dream runs around 2 seconds long.

Hi Peter,
It is quite normal! A lot of people have dreams like that in some form or other. Some hear knocks, some hear their name called, I usually have some part of my body jolt, and sometime hear a knock or a voice.
It is the process of going to sleep! Parts of the body relax at different rates and the one left behind catches up with a jolt.
Cheers Wolfjk
