A vampire chasing

I had this dream when I was a little kid I believe in 1st grade.

I remember me and mom was watching TV in the dark on the sofa. All of a sudden from the kitchen jumped a vampire in front of the tv. So I pulled me and my mom and we ran up some stairs and it was weird because our house at that time didn't have stairs but in the dream it did. We were running trying to reach daylight before the vampire got us, but as we were running up the stairs, I could feel the vampire getting closer and closer until I could feel it breathing down my neck. That's when in this dream, (this is the only time I've ever done this in my life) I snapped awake in this dream. It was odd because it felt like I was in the dream and another part of me was watching the dream calmly. The part of me watching it calmly decided to turn both me and my mom into He-Man and She-Ra and we started killing the vampire and hacking away at it as I slowly woke up.
