| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

Have you been changing your sleeping schedule or something?
I used to never have nightmares, but then I started listening to this one song every night on my mp3 player (I just put it on repeat) and almost every night I had mildly disturbing dreams (like about animals dying) or nightmares. I stopped listening to that song when I'm going to sleep and I hardly have nightmares anymore. |

Foods and allergy to some foods is the biggest cause of nightmares and bad dreams. Normally spicy and fatty foods cause indigestion and heartburn. That causes bad dreams. Nowadays a lot of people sample foreign foods Indian, chinese and others with hot curries or peppers. If they are'nt used to it it can cause bad dreams. Another cause is badly cooked food or in case pizza or pasta, under cooked can cause horrors in the night. Bon appetite!! Cheers Wolfjk

I think roughly the same as Wolfjk. If you eat food that is maybe off or not cooked properly this can probably lead to disturbing or unsettled dreams, (together with physical disturbance like a tummy ache). Also dairy products are meant to promote more than average amounts of dreaming.
I think eating anything substantial just before bed leads to disturbed sleep to at least some extent. |
