Default What is happening

Hi everyone,

I am new here but have been suffering from this problem for a while. It seems to happen more often if I sleep during the day. It started that I would 'wake up' from sleep in the room that i went to sleep in, this varied from my bedroom a friends bedroom and my living room and not be able to move my eyes. Although my mind would somehow simulate movement. feeling like I was doing summersalts on the bed and I would actually see myself doing it, or my arm fell off in another episode. I would then suddenly become consious in the exact position I saw when I first 'woke up'. I could also hear the world around me while in this state including TV, cars, family talking etc.

It has now developed into a different kind of dream where I open my eyes and see the room as it is but I close my eyes again and however hard I try I cannot open them again?? Then suddenly they open. this can last for about 1 to 5 minutes and it really freaks me out.

Please help.

Thank you

Clare

Hi Clare,
Your dream is a variation on a sleep paralysis dream. Have a look at this thread: (just click on it)
