Hello I am new to the boards here and I didnt quite know where to post.
most of my dreams are "nightmares" so I was kinda thinking this was the place to post.

I have had all kinds of crazy things happen to me in my sleep so I thought instead of creating a bunch of new threads I would just make one really really long one! haha
I have been tormented with these things since I was very young, lately I have been remembering dreams from like 18 years ago! (im 22) I cant make out my dreams from childhood very clearly but I remember alot of them had to do with a television that had different channels on it, and I would be watching cartoons in my dream and then the channel nob would flip and there would be a deamon that was talking to me, and I would close my eyes and run up to the tv and change it back and then after a few seconds it would flip back to the big devil guy in the tv. Most of my dreams involved devils and deamons but looking back I think it had alot to do with my mother trying to convert me to christianity (im not a christian and never have i been)
throughout the years I have had all kinds of crazy things like being touched in my dream and waking up and still feeling the warmth of the touch, or being hurt in a dream and waking up hurt, or dreams of people whispering things in my ears and then waking to feel the warm moisture of the breath lingering on my ear. recently I have been having dreams of astro traveling, or dreams of hanging out in my apartment in the dark and there being all sorts of people and things present in my dream, one time I had a dream about finding a cockroach and thinking that my girlfriend was going to freak out when she got up to fix her breakfest so in my dream I sprayed raid everywhere and that morning I woke up to her screaming when she found dead cocroaches in the kitchen. haha all kinds of crazy far out things like that.
the reason I joined up though was to get some input on something that happened to me last night when I was trying to go to sleep, I was having a very rough time falling asleep and kept having all of these little fragments of visions playing out in my head, like sounds and sights ... much like watching bits of movies only inside my head while i was awake... and I started kind of trying to relax and let my mind go, just let go of everything thinking that the visions would stop, and my mind started floating up and up and more distant from my body until I came to a place where there were these cubes (still awake just ... not completely I guess) that I was looking down on and inside the cubes there were different things but I focused on the one that had my bedroom in it and I pushed it and then I was aware of my body and I kind of felt the sensation that the room I was in was an elevator and had just moved, and then I jumped back up to where these other like cubes were and I wanted to see what it was all about and maybe go into another one but before I could move anymore cubes around this face appeared in front of me, it had BRIGHT green eyes and it looked very annoyed with me, and I looked into his eyes and just held the gaze for a moment and then it was like all I could see were his black pubils with fiery green around them and then I opened my eyes and was seriously freaked out and didnt want to close them again, the thing thats so odd is I never felt like I was asleep, I was awake the whole time, I dont remember any of the dreams I had when I had actually gotten to sleep all I know is that I didnt sleep well at all. any thoughts?

It sounds like you have some fascinating experiences..I mean, I guess a lot would depend upon your belief system. It's hard to visualize your experience from your description...obviously! but it would be great to hear one of your dreams in full detail next time you have one! maybe you had some sort of vision, i noticed you said you were trying to let your mind go......perhaps it was some kind of meditation, that would be my best guess...you started meditating unknowingly and then fell into a semi sleep state. Mediation ( letting the mind go) can produce all sorts of stuff. If you can do it so easily you should read up on it and start to practice it conscienely ..i think i spelled that wrong..

some wild things have happened when i have fell asleep trying to meditate. Really bizarre dreams and things...which i guess is why your not supposed to fall asleep meditating! well, there are my thoughts, don't know how good they are!!

well I from where I am standing and from how it felt, I think that I was having some sort of an experience cocktail, its like I was lucid traveling, the thing that bothers me about the whole thing is the face thst sort of forced me back to my body, I know that the whole room thing is kinda strange but to me thats just awesome and not creepy but if there are other people out there that hit these face walls of doom, I would like to know about it because then I might be able to kind of try and figure out what it is, I have found one other person today that is shut down by "an evil presence" when astro traveling but that is all..... I heard about a theory of reptilian creatures that are brainwashing us all but that seems a bit extreme... but I will for sure start logging my dreams on here! I feel much better reading other peoples messed up dreams because then I dont feel like such a creepoid.... maybe I was looking at other demensions that I am not supposed too, maybe its just some overactive imagination mixed with changing dmt levels as I drift off to sleep....who know but thanks alot for the input!
