| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

I've been quite claustrophobic all my life. I hate small spaces & being crammed into a space with loads of people. When I was little a lot of my nightmares, although different dreams, ended in the same way. I was sure that to get out of my nightmare I had to crawl through this tiny turning tunnel. Sometimes I would go through it & get stuck so I would end up screaming in my dream 'till I woke up. Most of the time though I wouldn't even go through it because I was to terrified of small spaces. Having my nightmares end like this made me even more scared of small spaces.
Does anyone know what this means or has had something similar in their dreams? |

I, myself am a bit claustrophobic. I don't freak out, but I do get uneasy and become very cautious every time I step in an elevator or train. Personally, I'm always dreaming that I somehow find myself in a tunnel and I'm always surrounded by water. It varies from a little or me being completely submerge within the water. I don't quite understand what exactly is the root of this dream or if there is a message behind it. Unfortunately, I hardly ever see a light at the end. Sometimes, in the middle of the dream I try to convince myself that it is only a dream and that I should pay attention to the details, but there are none to be found.
I do know that the water in my dream is a sign of spirituality, but the tight spaces I endure must be a catalyst to the message. I assume, that because claustrophobia is a condition that we suffer from that the dream might try to explain a difficult aspect in our waking life. I'm glad I at least found someone who has the same dream that I have... hopefully we can find a solution! |

Another example I recall is in a dream where at the corner of two building outside, creating a 90 degree L shaped corner, the concrete ground dips into the ground into a pyramid shape with the lowest point in the corner and I get stuck in this. It'd probably help if I drew a picture of it. Looks like you can only link to pictures on this forum so I can't show my drawing. |

Softie, just wondering if when you were born your mom had complications and had a difficult delivery with you. Maybe your claustrophobia is connected to your birth? Tunnel=birth canal????

Hi,
Dreams of immatured children is about their parents, girls is about their mother. If one dreamt entered a cave/ tunnel and dwelled in it means there is a health danger. If dreamt he entered a cave and got out soon means he will enter a hard job.*** If dreamt he entered a cave and it was luminous means he will be jailed. If dreamt entered a cave/ tunnel and there was tight and dark means he will be jailed and there is a death danger.

Very good site, excellent content, I will recommend to my group of readers in the university, I found very interesting article on the internet, including this ... Weird phobias that control your life.....: The humongous list of phobias that you can have find anywhere shares the same characteristics, like the fear of dentist or doctor. Phobias and Fears are emotional reactions to an uncomfortable situation that causes physical and mental responses. Some of the symptoms that affect all of these weird phobias and fears like fear of success or fear of long words include: 1) Horror, terror, confusion, fear and uncontrollable feelings of panic 2) Unawareness that phobias and fears go beyond. 3) Acceleration of heart beat, extreme sweating, trembling, breathing problems.

Very good site, excellent content, I will recommend to my group of readers in college too, I will leave an input ---- Women smokers By now, we are all aware that smoking is bad for you. Yet more and more women are taking up the habit, in part due to the media image presented of gorgeous women smoking cigarettes and presenting a glamourous image. What kind of effects does this have on women's health, and what can we do about it?

Sounds like you remember being born. We do twist a bit in the birth tunnel
just before emerging. You may have heard voices, and been ready to take a breath before being able to. |
