Since I was 6 I have been having nightmares. The problem with this it can affect your sleep but it can affect your mood throughout the day. Since I was about 16 I started doing something in my nightmares and that was when that awful feeling that accompanies my nightmares begin to settle on me. The I would stand back and the nightmare on the Tv. I would then switch off the TV or eject the video( this shows how long it has been going on for). I have no idea how I did this but I know how to do this next trick.
I have 2 rings, both given to me by my wife. Both are silver, 1 wedding and 1 engagement. I do not have religious faith but I have faith in the love in whic these rings were given. When I have a nightmare, the fear I feel is almost enough to paralyse me. But I move my fingers to rest on the rings. What happens next is that I am partially pulled from the nighmare because I can feel myself lying in the bed but I then have the choice to open my eyes which the feeling of the nightmare sometimes lasts for a while or I can continue with whatever is coming for me. I did this at 1.32am today and I have done it at least 10 times. It stops you experience the nightmare but the feeling of what was happening following I don`t know how to prevent that following you into wakefullness. I hope this can help some as it is helping me. You don`t have let what ever is waiting for you in your nightmares have total power over you ![]() |

Quote:
In sleep you get a nightmare for adefinite reason! If you have a nightmare at 1.32am, there must be something causing it! I don't know what you eat, drink or what medication or drug you take but whatever it is, it wakes you up. The way you deal with it is quite natural, as the aim of the nightmare is to bring you to the level of consciousness where you can "feel myself lying in the bed but I then have the choice to open my eyes which the feeling of the nightmare sometimes lasts for a while or I can continue with whatever is coming for me." However it is better to find out why you hae to wake up at that ungodly hour? If you check what causes it you can change the habit and have a peaceful sleep. Cheers Wolfjk

Thompson’s Colombia-born wife, Sascha Herrera Thompson turned herself in to federal authorities Tuesday morning to face a deportation order that would kick her out of the country. But the judge granted a stay so the couple can file an appeal.
“It’s been a nightmare,” Thompson said. “We’ve both had nightmares during this time.” Herrera attorney Charles Kuck, along with government lawyers with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, filed a joint order to stay the deportation order and reopen her case after the parties agreed that Herrera may have been the victim of an unscrupulous individual posing as an immigration lawyer. Officials are now reviewing Herrera’s claims that Tomas Vilela mishandled her immigration requests and led to her deportation order. “This is tragically common where someone trusts and believes somebody to be a lawyer and it turns out that they are not a lawyer,” Kuck said. "They potentially defraud people. ... Part of it is greed.
