Does anyone else have this? this isnt the void, is it?

OK, I dont know where to begin, so please bear with me, believe me, you will understand if you having these nightmares too.
I have had this one specific nightmare/experience all throught my life. It is not something i have often, but when i do, it is unmistakable. Now i used to have these dreams much more regularly, probably up untill i was around 10 or so, i would have these dreams every couple months, as i got older they were less frequent. Now, at the age of 19, i havent had one of these dreams in atleast 4-5 years. Yet if i hear the right tone is a persons voice, or try to remember the beat of the dream, or the feeling, i can catch a taste, of the dream all over again.

So here is what happens in these dreams. Again, these are very difficult to explain, because while i can compare them to imagery, or a sound, or a beat, they are none of those things. In these dream there is no sound, there are no objects, no characters, no environment, It isnt just black, nor is it grey, white or any of the other things ive heard used to describe the void. In these dreams i have no sense of a body, it is just my mind, and this other thing that is happening. In each dream there is something there in the blankness, and its multiplying, its expanding at an exponential rate, and i am certain in that moment, that this expansion is mallicious, it is the worst thing that could ever happen, and it is more important than anything in existance. The hallmark of the experience is that this expansion, is because of me some how, and no matter how i plead, it wont stop.
Now sometimes i can relate the feeling or the expansion to a mass, one that grows and snowballs, but again, i cant actualy see a mass. Sometimes its a beat, and i can almost hear it, increasing in pitch and speed, yet again i dont actualy hear a thing. Sometimes its a voice, usualy a parents voice, and it starts natual and then the pich increases disgustingly, and again, i dont actualy hear my parents or anything for that matter.
Having these dreams growing up, they usually ended with my mother in my room, rubbing my back or something because apparently i was screaming or crying or something, and she would come wake me. And while i did eventualy come out of the dream with her help, it was not like other dreams, were you wake up and only have the memory if the dream to frighten you. Unlike a normal dream, these dreams dont end when i wake up, they continue, in full force, for 5-10 minutes after i am technicaly awake. Some of the last few times i experienced the dream, i was old enough (14-15) to know what was happening, and try to work through it on my own.
On one perticular night, i remember having the dream, this time it could most closely be compared to a grid i was standing on, and the grid was expanding, and again, it was accompanied by the most powerfull sense of loss, guilt, and horror that i could ever have felt. (hard for me even to relate to it, be cause ive never felt anthing close to it in daily life) Back to the dream, I was able to wake myself up, or lets say, i opened my eyes and sat up in bed. As i looked at my room it to had expanded, i felt everything that was there, was miles away, all malignant, all against me, and while i dont believe i made a sound, i felt as tho i was sobbing inside, and somehow this experenece was indifferent to my pain. So i get up, and walk into the bath room, flip on the light, use the restroom, splash cold water on my face, and the whole time im still in the dream as much as ever. I was aware of the other presence i was talking about, the expansion, and it was there, even though i was reasoning with myself, telling myself i just needed to wake up. It did go away after i went back to bed and just sat there, waiting it out.

Now, another thing that makes these dreams different than normal nightmares, is the fact that i can experience the emotion and sense the expansion from time to time, in normal every day life. Usualy it is a voice, if i hear a voice and its pitch changes in just the right way, bam, there ya go, i feel that dread, loss, terror again, and then its gone. Like a quick flash, nothing more. Or if i sit and try to remember one of the dreams, and really concentrate i can remember a detail of it with clarity and again i get a flash of it.

The reason i wanted to see if others had this dream was that my friend Tim has also had the same dream. One time i mentioned these dreams to him, and while i usualy draw blank stares from people, because my explaination makes no sense to them, i was actualy making sense to Tim. I would start describing it, and he would fill in the blanks as i searched for words, and he knew exactly what the feeling was.
Now, for Tim, the imagry was differnt, at time the expansion took the form of numbers for him, he saw a bar graph, and the numbers kept escalating in a devestating manor. Or would feel he was responsible for some huge debt that was inccuring against his parents life. He heard the pitch change in voice also, although he was aware of an old woman standing over him, speaking. And while the ways in which he related it are different, it is unmistakably the same dream.

Tim claims that these dreams only happened to him as a child also, but he says that he has had relapses, one time were he was sitting in the dentist office, decades after the last dream, and someones voice triggered it, and he was thrust into the experience right then and there, and he had to pul himself togather, and walk it out.

Anyways, i feel very strongly that these dreams are not just nightmares and a wild imagination, and the fact that other people like tim have experiened the same thing makes me wonder what is going on behind these dream, and if anyone else has them.

Oh my... so what you feel could be described as the "negative" feelings, and as so it kinda feels as darkish, not as in the color but the sensation of it being in the whole expansion of the voice that grows in a random form along with the mass as if it were hitting you? well... thats what I felt, and I got rid of it too while being a child, so I never worried about that again <.<

Hello, I believe God speaks to us in our dreams. It's not always God, but some are meant to teach us or to warn us. This black void you speak of, I believe, is what we would experience after our judgment, that judgment is being cut off and away from the Light, God himself. We would still have our emotions, this being our eternal fate for not accepting God as our Father and creator. Putting ourselves and OUR wants and needs before Gods and what HE intended for our Life's Purpose. Listen carefully to the still small voice inside of you, ask our heavenly Father for help in understanding, and he will answer. He gave us free will to chose between good and evil, darkness and light. It is a great mystery, but we have a need to search him out, a void that can only be filled by God our Father Himself. It's Father's day today. What a better day than today to thank Our Father for Life, and for the Son he gave us to wash away all our sin and make us pure again in his eyes. I hope this wasn't "to heavy" for you to understand, and I'm not meaning to "push" but, this life is just a blink of an eye in comparison to eternity. I wouldn't want my worst enemy to have to go into darkness forever, the pain would be unimaginable. Take care Laura

Well you see, at the time i experienced the dreams the most, i was young, and i actually believe i was strongest in my christian faith at that point in my life. It would seem logical that these kinds of dreams might happen now, now that im older and thusly more sinful, but on the contrary i am quite free of these dreams now.

I too felt that these must be some way of seeing my sin manifest, and experiencing the consequences of a life without the lord, but im just puzzled by the timing. Your post was not to heavy, in fact it was quite light weight, very understandable. Im just not sure if its the reason or not. I was merely wondering if other had experienced similar nightmares because, as i said, my friend said he also experienced them. I thought it would be interesting to see if others had the same feeling, and if there might be some interesting theories behind it.

Ah did you read my post? Anyway I don't see how would that have anything to do with God, I got it gone pretty easy, just had to understand the good side of the "negative" feelings wich wasn't negative at all <.<

The grid could be something overpowering you....since you were young maybe a warning of your well being depending on your future choices.

Ive had dreams of dieing when I was young & once I was in a car accident where when I died I saw complete darkness for a second...then I saw the bright sky & then I was a ghost where no one could see me at school but I could see everyone. I felt trapped, so I got on my knees to pray to god to give me another chance to make it right.

I was in the 6th grade & innocent...never experienced anything to feel guilty for at the time. Then in the 11th grade I got in a similar Car accident as that dream. So in retrospect it was preparing me on how to handle that situation because while the accident was occuring I prayed to GOD & he saved me and my cousins life while driving off the Highway exit & almost flying off the cliff.

I believe now that some nightmares are just Warnings on what may happen if we dont stir away from certain life styles. and maybe why you dont experience these dreams anymore is that your heart has to be open with god to receive these Warning dreams....

Well you say when you were young and those dreams would occur it was when you were the strongest in your relationship with God. When were young we feel that were only mature enough for our age but thats not how God sees it. I f we take in his word and abide by it and stand on it we our maturity level in God gets higher. When your strong with God you give your all to him. So God is right there giving his all to you. When the devil sees that he gives his all. What im trying toi say is the devil wants you to give some of yourself to him so he hit you hard with emotions and worries........which become burdens that we must give to God because if we dont were giving it to the devil to magnify it and bind you top this world. And if you give even a little bit to Satan your not gioving you all to God. Do you see what im try'n to say? While your older and more into sin with this world we know that were not giving our all to God so the devil will temp you with little things to magnify. Hello, Adam.

What i believe your experiancing is a old memory, eventhough i dont believe in reincarnation, i do believe its possible for memorys of a life before we were born to open up to us. Or unvieled to us. I think its the memory of us entering our bodys. The feelings of creation.

One night when i went to bed, i no more than layed down, i saw a grid, but in the form of diamond shapes, triangles put together in such a way to form a circle. The voice that was speaking was strange, and i couldnt understand it, but was a harsh exacting languige. I know it now symbolically as the pattern, a part of creation. I dont even consider it a dream becaue i was still awake.

I found another guy, he has a website thetrinitythree, because that experaince took place with him in a parking lot. He does numbers in dreams because of it. there isnt to many people that have that experiance when awake to change them in a blink of an eye, he being one, and myself.

The more people you meet, the more you look, the more you will find, and the linkness between certain things. Its the reason for the pattern, or grid.
