| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

Ok, i assume we've all heard of the black dog. Big in british folklore, a ghost dog usually bigger than an average dog with glowing eyes of some sort. Other than that little bit of knowledge I dont know anything about it. What its supposed to mean, if its dangerous. But its been in a nightmare of mine that i've had over and over, only with minor changes, usually being the direction i'm running.
The dream always starts in the same place, my home town. More specifically, my walking down a street in me home town. The street runs infront of the school and about midway down the street, infront of the school, is a T-intersection. Everytime i get to the T-Intersection i look and i see it, the black dog. Sometimes its sitting down, glaring at me before standing and coming forward, and sometimes as soon as i see it, it charges me. The only other difference is sometimes its right infront of the school, so i turn and try to run up the hill which is down the T-Intersection, and sometimes its right at the bottom of the hill so i try to run to the school. Either way, its always hard. Its like running through water. I try to move my legs faster but they're so heavy. Whenever i look back the dog is closer. I've never made it to safety. It's been alot of close calls before i wake up. Sometimes it is in mid-air, jumping at me when i wake, other times it catches my shirt or pants and still another time it sunk its teeth into my shoulder, which was sore when i woke up. I dont know what it means, if anything. I've sort of got used to having random seemingly meanless dreams, but there you go. Any help would be appriciated. |

Hi,
Your dreams are typical waking nightmares. The meaning to them is that something happens to you in your sleep that needs you to be woken up. Essentially the dream frightens you awake. I am pretty sure you get some pains while you sleep. Possibly cramps in your legs or shoulers. Yhe pain in your shoulder probably caused one of your dreams! Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
A dog in dream language is a symbol or someone who doesn't do on what he knows or a kind enemy. His eyes means his morals or his dear properties.
