| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

I happen to be pretty fascinated with the paranormal. As a matter of fact, I tend to look up as much info as I can to learn about all kinds of things related to such fields. But recently, I have started to have a series of dreams related to UFO/Alien stuff. It leaves me very shaken every time I wake in the middle of the night. Some nights, so scared that I do not want to open my eyes in fear they will be looking back at me. It seems irrational to me.
The first dream was just of a huge ufo landing in our town. That is all I remember. this was last month. Second in this series of dreams, I was in bed, under the covers, and when I peaked out I saw them everywhere. Your typical picture of an alien - smooth skin, big eyes and head, skinny bodies. They were surrounding the bed. I did not want to move. I was frozen with fear. Finally they saw me, and I remember feeling very odd. Their hands reached out to my face and I woke up. This dream was strange as in when I saw them, it was almost like through night vision goggles... it was very greyscalesque. The third dream I had just this week...my husband and I were in the backyard talking, and I grab his arm and point at a UFO. As we look at it together it lights up brighter and takes off fast, only to be followed by a lot of UFOs that are smaller and in a uniform flight pattern. I woke up from this very shaken. I have seen UFOs in the past. Believe it or not. I have a history of horrible nightmares but these feel extra strange. They are not the scariest dreams I have had, but the feeling I wake with is one of the most disturbing. This was my first post. Hope to find some opinions. Thanks to everyone for reading. |

Have you been doing your research at night, before you go to sleep? Maybe watched some scary UFO movies lately?
In addition, these alien invasions may represent something foreign and new that may be happening in your life that you're afraid of. Is anything "invading" your life right now that makes you uncomfortable or scared that you've had trouble admitting to? That could be the root of the problem. Dreams about repressed emotions often manifest in familiar objects or things we are more able to accept. It may be in your case that alien invasion is easier to accept than whatever is really invading your life right now. |

Hi, thanks for the replies.
Maybe it just is on my mind frequently. I don't tend to do research before bed, usually it's in the morning. As I said before, I have a history of nightmares, maybe I am unusually stressed lately. |
