I had a dream about half an hour before wakeup time this morning. To tell the truth I'm not 100% convinced that this was really a dream. It wasn't a proper out of body experience, because I wasn't outside of my body. But I seem to have been "visited" by some other discarnate spirit, and not a very nice one!
I dreamed that a security guard at the computer store where I sometimes play games after school was giving me a dressing down. He was angry at me for coming to the store regularly, even though I've never had a problem there in real life and it's store policy to offer internet access freely. He was very insinuating and intimidating. He said, "You leave and then you come back," as if this were problematic behavior. All of this happened at the end of a dream I don't remember clearly at all but which was not frightening and took place at a house I've never been to before. That's scary enough but get this. I was defenseless from this man's emotional attack, so I acted the way I act when that happens in real life. I tried to be nice and humble and placating. But then I felt something rustle about my head. Inside my body and inside my bed I reached my hands to my head like it was an itch or trying to find out what it was AND two old, grimy, wrinkly hands grabbed my hands hard!!! I turned around in my bed and while asleep and it was this horrible looking monster man trying to pull me through the headboard of the bed. He knew that he looked like a monster and expected me to be real scared. I could tell that he was trying to be monsterly, or trying to emphasize his menacing qualities. Then I woke up all the way and of course the first thing I did was open my eyes and turn around and make sure I couldn't see through my headboard, then look over the headboard to make sure there wasn't some creepy maniac or homeless drunk hiding behind it! Needless to say nobody was there. But it sure was creepy. If anyone has any comments to share, please feel free. |

Monsters are often symbollic of something in your life that is completely out of control and becoming destructive.
Perhaps your subconscious (or some kind of spirit -- I think this may actually be a good spirit trying to get its message across in a way that you'll remember!) is telling you that something in your life needs to change. Perhaps it's your response to emotional situations. I find it interesting that the "monster" appeared when you reacted to this threat in the way you normally do -- perhaps the dream is telling you that you need to find an alternate response to when you feel upset. |

Hi Erin,
You seem to be an intelligent person! I think your dream wasabout what was happening to you in sleep! While you sleep, you move about in bed and get into all sorts of strange sleeping positions! [quote]But then I felt something rustle about my head. Inside my body and inside my bed I reached my hands to my head like it was an itch or trying to find out what it was AND two old, grimy, wrinkly hands grabbed my hands hard!!! I turned around in my bed and while asleep and it was this horrible looking monster man trying to pull me through the headboard of the bed.[/quotete] As you can gather from the above quote, your dream turned you over in bed! However when you turned over your hed was pressing against the headboard this horrible looking monster man trying to pull me through the headboard of the bed. You just cant win! Cheers Wolfjk
