Needles and Nightmares

I've been having nightmares about needles being stuck several inches into me. This one the other night was worse. Instead of needles being stuck in me, I would all the sudden would feel something hard beneath the skin of my arm and then the point of a needle would stick through and I would pull it out of me. This happened over and over usually with fairly thick needles. They were a dull metallic gray in color, almost plastic looking. I remember one needle breaking in half when it was outside of me. The needle had several layers to it, the outer metallic looking gray layer, a layer of white bone, and a center of blood that was like an extremely thick syrup.

Does anyone have any insights they could give me?

The dream indicates that you get some pain in your arm while you sleep! My guess is that you have "Carpal Tunnel" syndrome. You may feel OK in day time but the pain comes on while you sleep!
Have your arm checked out!
