Me and Myself.

I can have dreams of people being murdered and the world ending, but this one freaked me out the most. I woke up crying.

I was looking through the eyes of a different girl, but she was almost transparent, maybe a ghost. She was frightened, and we were in a cream-colored room with a long wooden mirror in the middle of the wall. It was an empty room.

Inside the mirror was my real self, normal. I was trapped and banging against the mirror, crying. And then thats when all hell broke lose. All of a sudden, another copy of myself walked in the room and stood in front of the mirror. I was holding a camera in my hand, and i held it up, like ready to take a picture.

But the copy of myself who was standing in front of the mirror, was different. She was me, with an evil smile and cracks running all over her face. And no eyes. Like big black pits, or gouged out eyes.

While the real me was trying to get out of the mirror, the ghost tried to run away from this evil self with the camera, but she was locked in place and couldnt move.

Then the evil self smiled with rotten teeth, and took a picture. Everything flashed white, and then I woke up. What the heck does it mean???

I love your dream. It is so layered and depictive. Don't think too much into this dream. I believe the dream is as it portrays itself to be; different facets of you. The transparent ghost-like person you were seeing through the eyes of...well this is you feeling dead (perhaps synonymous with tired), frightened, alone and paralyzed. This side of your personality is what lies deep underneath because the girl is ghost-like and may represent something that haunts you from your past. The "you" in the mirror is your real self...as you stated. Your real self is trapped and wanting to get out. The imposter with the camera is the side of you that you consider to be evil. This side cannot see how things really are and is cracked (broken). It is the side of you that hides behind a camera (sees life through a lens). It is the side you portray to others and which is at odds with the ghost-you. It is how you portray yourself to others so you don't have to feel the pain from the past.

This dream reminds me of the "Id," "Ego" and "Superego". Very interesting. May you find peace with yourself so your trapped self can start living Be well.
