Default One hour of nightmare,,,,,....

Date: 17 May 2008, 04.22 AM

Hello Friends,

Today itself between 03.00 to 04.00 AM i had the worst dream of my life, with really experiencing the pain.

First let me give u some insight into my life, my father expired on 19 Nov, 2007, and i have one sister who is abroad working, and my mother and me only we two stay in our house. After my fathers death it is me who forgot all about him, as I go to office in morning and come back in evening. Today morning at around 2.30 am i woke up and scheduled some downloading in my laptop and went to sleep at 03.00 am , from where the dream started.

Now in todays one hour of dream i literally experienced a lot of pain, from the anger of my father (he was a very tempered person, mostly when he used to take alcohol) which I had experienced from childhood till his death. But his anger in real life, had reduced because he had become old.

THE DREAM:
But in todays dream the situation was of present life, after the 19 Nov incident somehow my father survived and was staying with us. But he used to drink a lot, and not listen to my mother and me, and he used to beat me in the dream, literally I could experience the pain in my dream. It so happened that in the dream in some situations my father was really tempered and not ready to understand at all. we (my mom and me) even called my sister, and told her about my fathers behaviour. During my dream in my mind I was literally thinking that father has survived death, but is creating lot of problems for us.

The one hour of dream was not at all a dream at all. Just like real experience.
When I woke up, I was so feared that for 5 mins I did not went out of my room, as I was afraid that father might be there, then somehow mustering some courage I went out of my room, and went to hall, where my mom is sleeping, then after some time I mustered courage and went into my fathers bedroom, and switched on lights, I did not see anything, the room was normal.

Still the above dream has shaken me so much that im interested to know its interpretation, also in my house, my mom had sent my horoscope to some astrologers for their opinion for which they told that currently the stars in my horoscope are not in correct position,

kindly interpret this dream if possible and mail me on gmail, my id is ravi.exe

thanks..

rsk...

I am sorry for the loss of your father. Death is never easy ...even if you believe you have forgotten about him. I however believe that your dream is showing you otherwise. It seems to me... by what you said prior to the dream and the dream itself, that you experienced a lot of pain growing up and especially with your relationship with your father. I believe many of your feelings; fear, pain, anger, etc. you supressed for many years and they are now surfacing because you are now able to deal with them. I believe the reason why the pain felt so real in your dream is because it is real (although on a emotional and mental level). When you have experienced trauma it takes awhile before you can process emotions. You have experienced a lot. You are a child of an alcoholic, you had a father with a temper and you had to deal with years of unpredictability with your father. Alcoholics generally have issues with control and blame. I know this because my father was (is) an alcoholic. I am sure you were blamed for a lot of things growing up and had to deal with him being mad at you one minute and fakely affectionate the next. It was confusing for you as a child and also as you grew older, so of course this would come across in your dream with such violent and profound depictions. To sum it all up...you are now at a point where your mind and spirit feels safe enough to confront these emotions ...as well as...the emotions of his passing. I wish you the best. May you find peace with the situation. Be well.

Hi Shirah,

thank you for your prompt reply, actually the intensity of the dream was so much that I felt like sharing with someone, discussing it with someone, so immediately within half an hour of waking up, I had posted it in this forum.

Now I am little more in consience, but I know that the first 10 - 20 minutes of waking up, there was a different type of fear, in my heart and my actions were not in my control.

Hope such dreams dont continue further..

Hi,
Don't worry this is a dream language symbol :

If dreamt a deceased person was beating him means he/she will receive a benefit from a travel or he/she will found his lost money.**********

If dreamt he was dead and people were beating him means his belief is strong and stable and he will pay back his debts.
If dreamt he was beating a dead and was satisfy of that beating means the situation of that deceased person in the spirituals is good .

approximate interpretation time table: Dreams at noon or exactly at midnight( In the summer time 13 at noon and 1 midnight else at 12)in the same day if past a few minutes, a few days later. Dreams at 10-11 in the morning in 15-30 days later. Also dreams at 3-4 in the evening in 1-2 months .Dreams in the sunset mostly are not truthful and are messed, they have no interpretations, Dreams at 4-5 in the morning in a few days to 2 months some dreams in the holy books( Josef dream of kneeling the sun and the moon and 11 stars)was interpreted after 20 years and other dreams of the Pharaoh's prisoners interpreted in the same day and after 7 years. Dream of Pharaoh about the 7 thin cows and 7 fat cows interpreted from the next year to 14 years. Also dreams in 6th of the month will interpret after 1-2 days, in 9th at the same day, in 10th after 20 days, in 13th after 9 days in 14th after 26 days and in 15th after 3 days, in 16th after 2 days and in 28th ,29th ,30th in the same day, but these are solar (Persian months and you should refer to a calendar or convert them) . Of course there are different kinds of dreams , like messy dreams which have no interpretations or deja vu dreams, or psychological dreams or dreams which are caused by bad food or drinks.

Hi,
Going to bed at 3AM is not a good time. When you get over tired, over stressed and over excited you can expect some problems in sleep. It is very likely that your dream was caused by the pain you had in the sleep. Your subconscious mind associated the pain you you had in the sleep with the pain - physical and psychological - you used to get from your abusive father. The fact that you went to bed late had something to do with the vividness of your dream. Then there is the question of what you were trying to download? Did you have some spicy or fatty food before going to bed?
Whether your dreams are good or bad , they are an important part of controllin your sleep. Why was it necessary for the dream to wake you after only an hours sleep? Perhaps the answer lies in what you were doing and thinking before you went to sleep?
Cheers Wolfjk
