My best friend died in Iraq.....

First I'll tell you the dream then give a little back ground information...

I was in my house and I was talking to my best friends Mom on the phone. I was devestated, I couldn't believe what I was hearing My friend who is in Iraq was killed. I started to cry and tell her "he can't be dead". I remember just crying then finally speaking I told her "I loved her son and always did". SHe told me she knew.
I looked at my computer desk and there was a card in a blue envelop to be mailed to him that day. I thought to myself I have to mail it to him because he is not dead. But then remembered I can't because he is dead.
I then was with my mother and she was hugging me as I cried and cried in her arms. All I kept saying was "I loved him, I loved him....."


Now for the background. I am married but I am in love with this friend who died in my dream. He is serving in Iraq right now and I hate that. Last night I got a card and filled it out, it is in a blue envelop. This dream was not as if I was watching it happen it was actually me. When I woke up I feared he was actaully killed because the dream felt so real......

i think maybe your just scared anything will happen, just as anyone would be.. and you love him as a friend right? so thats all it is!

no, I have always loved him more. I was in love with him before any other man. When my husband was in Iraq I never felt scared never had dreams but with this guy I do....

Get real! If you loved him so much you would have chosen him in the firs place! However he might have rejected your advances! It takes two to tango! Make the best of your marriage and think less of your friend! I think you are a hopeless romantic! Alwas after the unattainable!
