Hi everyone...
I had a dream last night about a ghost. I remembered the lights and the tv were still on before I went to bed last night. I was lying on my dream, the same way on how I went to bed. I was wearing the same clothes, the tv is still on and the lights on my room are still up, exactly the situation on reality on the time, that same moment. Then suddenly I was a figure of a woman with short hair. Gentle passing the side of my bed. She's wearing a long white flowing gown and her face is bloodless white that looks like it was beaten. She is moving sideways beside my bed. After seeing her I panicked. At first I didn't realized that I was just dreaming because It is like real. I was so horrified that I really wanted to get up and run but I can't. My body is like glued in bed and I really can't move while still watching her. I keep on shaking my body and after a few attempts I woke up and realized it is only a dream. I was confused at first I thought it was real. I glanced on my bedside clock and realized that I was only asleep for about 5 minutes. The program that I'm watching before I fell asleep is still the program running when I woke up... It's so creepy... Can anybody help me? Thanks to all! micgui |

Is it possible that you had an eposode of ISP (Isolated sleep paralysis)? You can find some information about it here: The 'Old Hag" Syndrome
Yours is a little different, but some of your symptoms do match, like not being able to move and thinking that it is real. However, with ISP I think you usually see someone on top of your chest. But hey, it's still a possibility! |

Hey, the same thing used to happen to me all the time. Like 2-4 times a week. Then I moved and it stopped. I don't know about you but I believe in ghosts, and maybe that's what it is...But I know a lot of people don't believe in them.

I have had similar dreams three seperate times. All three involved ghosts and them trying to take my children. As I fight with them is when the paralysis sets in. The first time, I awoke to the ghost in my dream floating away from me to the ceiling. My eyes were open and I was awake. The latest one, my wife woke me up as I was gasping for air.
The scary part is, I have had three seperate dreams in my life in which I documented with family members that have come true. The ghost have changed each time and have been different in personalities so other than being ghosts there are no common threads. I have had SP several times without the sensation or images of ghosts. Other times I dream as if I am late for school and I just can't get up, someone is at the door/phone and I can't get up. The ghosts are new, 6mths. GD |
