This is not really a nightmare, but I had a dream where I was in a fight with someone. It was just a friendly fight, but we were hitting each other as hard as we could. That was the whole dream.

The main point is that when I awoke, I had a blood nose, which I never get, and I even coughed up some blood.

Is that normal?

I don't think your dream and the nose bleeding are related and when sleeping some blood is entered your lung you coughed.

Beating in the dream, if you kicked means you will get ill for a few days.
If you punched you will get ill.

Quite normal!
In sleep you sometimes make the movements your drem suggests. In vivid dreams like yours was, the movements can be really violent. It is likely that you clouted yourself on the nose several times and made you own nose bleed. Probably swallowed some blood as well.
If you are engaged in some friendly contact sport, the dream would be a normal night dream! Wear boxing gloves next time Cheers Wolfjk
