My friends mum had the dream every night that the grim reaper (she never saw his face) would drag her down the stairs everynight. Some days she would wake up at the bottom of the stairs, even in the atic. Once she woke up walking down the stairs. She would wake up go back to sleep and have it again. Someone told her it was a bad house and she should stay as far away as possible. Im wondering what this means? Thanks

It means that she has a sleep disorder and should seek proffessional help. Sleepwalking can be dangerous and should be treated. It may be that she suffered some trauma lately. Some medicines or drugs, nervous breakdown or a lot of pressure could cause her sleepwalking. Perhaps a complete health check should indicate what causes the dreams. Cheers Wolfjk

It was only in that house aswell. When she slept in a different house or when she was with someone else it didnt happen. It was the cellar stairs she found herself walking down when she woke up in the middle of the night

Hi CD,
Wolfjk is right I think this is an sleep disorder because of a trauma or pressure of what she likes to have. It will pass away if the trauma is away. She is under stress and this is not related to the house. Her family should try not to let her alone. Good luck.

Her life is at risk every time she walks in her sleep. Searching for a medical and/or mental condition should be top priority. If she gets to the point where all conditions have been ruled out and the doctors are baffled as to how to help her--then the family should consider the possibility of a demonic presence in the house. Things like sexual abuse, drug abuse and dabbling in the occult can lead to demonic oppression. Sometimes manifestations have nothing to do with the past or the lifestyle of the persons involved. Evil spirits can be attached to particular places, including houses. But, IMO, these kinds of explanation shouldn't be applied until the natural ones are exhausted.
