Default Dream About my deceased son

I was standing outside the hospital with my husband..waiting for my son to be brought out...someone said they are bringing him out on a gourney,I asked do you think he is going to make it?....when they brought him out he was being carried by two large hands, he was wrapped in the funeral home cover all that was showing was his face and it was a death face, someone asked me what do you think? in response to the question is he going to make it....And I woke up.

MY SON PASSED AWAY AFTER AND EXTENDED ILLNESS JANUARY 2,2007...HIS BIRTHDAY WAS MONDAY THE THIRD OF MARCH....I AM NOT SURE IF THAT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT......
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

The trauma of your son's death is always near the surface. This was brought out in your dream because you've been dwelling on his Birthday. Special dates intensify the sense of loss. When someone asked if he was going to make it and wanted to know what you thought about it--you responded by waking up. This shows that part of you is trying to avoid the answer to that question. Intellectually, you understand that he is gone, but accepting it within your heart and soul is an entirely different matter.

One year isn't nearly enough time to come to terms with the death of a child. It's a process that may take years and years. I'm not a psychiatrist, but a dream like this seems normal considering the sad circumstances.

Hi,
Dreaming about your deceased son means a traveller will come to visit you.
Someone like your daughter if she is in travel.
Good luck.

Wow... that's really sad. If it means anything (which I'm sure it doesn't) I'm really sorry about your son. Umm... if you need to vent or anything, you can talk to me. I recently had a good friend of mine pass away in a car crash on her way to school, so I kind of know how the loss feels. Obviously, losing a child is much worse, but I'll help if I can...
