Default my first recurring dream

I don't know anything about dreams but I am determined to figure out how to stop this dream. Please help

I am in a house with my roomate. It's not our actual house in real life, but in the dream its ours. I am with him and 2 girls from work. They are drinking and my roomate thinks he has to take care of them. I go into the kitchen open the pantry door and my youngest daughter who is 3 is sitting on the floor. I haven't seen her in almost 2 weeks so I am very excited! I start making her oatmeal, (peaches and cream I remember that), and my roomates father shows up. I ask him if he can see my daughter to make sure I'm not crazy and he says yes. I then see my roomate run outside chasing these 2 girls. I leave my daughter playing with my roomates father and go after them. When I get out there one of the girls is gone. I ask whats going on and my roomate tells me one of the girls ran off with some guys she doesn't know and now he has to go find them. The other girl says she'll go get her shoes and go with him. I tell my roomate I have to tell him something before he goes. I want to tell him about finding my daughter. At that point I see his face turn white and he is terrified looking behind me. I turn around and there is a black cloud hanging in mid air right behind me. It grabs me by the waist and is trying to consume me is the best way to describe it. My roomate is running trying to catch my hands which are reaching for him, but he can't get to me. I start screaming no I am a good person, I am good I don't wanna go! Then I wake up.
I have had this dream quite a few times. Only when my children are staying at their dads. I am fine when they're here with me. I want to know why I am having it. So if anyone can help you're interpretation is welcome. Thank you very much!

Hi,
You obviously have problems with your consciense. It is very unseetling when kids have to share their parents. You worry about your children when they are with their father. That is what the dream shows.
Cheers Wolfjk

I agree with what Wolf wrote. You seem to have anxiety over your children being at their father's house. I might also speculate from what you wrote about your dream that you also fear that you will no longer be needed or that your children will attach to him more then to you. You are their mother...no one can replace you. Please find peace in knowing this.
