Question Fat wife cooks her skinny husband in an oven and eats him... meaning?

I had this dream about three years ago, but it was so vivid that I still remember it clearly even now.

During that period of time, I had been depressed, and my sleeps were constantly with themes of being chased, murders, deaths, blood etc.

Dream:

I was in this kitchen on the ground floor, it was dirty, but lit with a dirty lightbulb. The room had an orange, red colour to it. It was grubby, had dirt everywhere and stains. There was no windows apart from a door that exits to the garden, but the door is closed. There is a wooden kitchen table on the left wall, and on the right wall of the room is the kitchen worktop and the metal oven.

There is a fat sweaty woman seated next to the kitchen table. The air to the room is stale. Her husband is sweaty and very thin, perhaps emaciation describes him well. He is wearing a dirty white vest top. The wife has an apron on.

Suddenly the woman flungs her husband into the oven and roasts him. And he shouts with submission 'Not again!' Giving the impression that she has ate parts of him before, which kind of explains why he is skinny. The air fills with the pungent smell of human meat roasting...

I would appreciate it if someone explains to me the significance of this dream.

Thanks.

(opps, I posted it under dream interpretation. I think this fits in as a nightmare...)

im no expert on the subject but perhaps the kitchen represents a world u live in. ( not the planet but more or less ur enviornment ) and the people in ur dream are u. both of them. the person before and after. the man is u before u start to believe in urself and fallow ur heart. the women is u after u realize that u are no longer depentent on others to help u. u can now put ur foot down and work for YOURSELF. the garden is your next step now that u are a new person. u just have to clean the kithcen before u leave. ill rite more latr.

Default chasing dreams

Hello Dreamergirl,
Sorry to hear you have been suffering from horrible dreams. I’m not sure about the meaning of fat lady eating skinny hubby, but I do have some advice for your regarding chasing dreams. It takes a bit of work, but if you intend to do it, it is possible. You need to become lucid in your dream, i.e. know that you are dreaming. When you are awake, tell yourself that you will know when you are dreaming and that when you are being chased say, ‘why am I scared? This is only a dream.’ Say this a few times before you got to sleep. Hopefully, it may trigger you to become lucid. Once lucid, you can turn around and face whatever is chasing you.

I have done it a number of times, and once you pluck up the courage to turn and face it, it usually becomes a nice dream. It takes a lot of courage, but well worth the effort. Once I was being chased – but as I turned around to face my attackers, they actually apologised to me. I don’t have such bad dreams anymore. Good luck.
