Default Morningmares!

I'm experiencing what my Dad calls "Morningmares", in that most of my so called 'nightmares' occur between 4 and 7 am....as suggested before, this may have something to do with my sleep cycle.
I dreamed that I had just awoken and was making my way to the living room when I saw a box of the most adorable fluffy grey and black kittens on the couch. They weren't very big. I was so taken by them, I tried to pick up one, but it hissed at me and raised its paw, when it did this, the claws opened and the claws were made of metal and curved at the end. The sharp point was almost sparkling! My heart beat really fast and I started running all around the house fearful for my life...as these kittens ran at my feet, trying to scratch me with their claws. I dodged and ran and even tried to climb the wall (why would I do that? ). My family was around and they all thought I was acting silly. They couldn't understand why I was scared...I mean, wasn't it obvious?
I realise that cat attack dreams are very, very common, espcially in this discussion forum. I have seen a few interpretation ideas like women, protection etc. Anyone has an idea what it is in my case? It would be also be interesting to read if any of you experience "Morningmares" like I do.

Hi PassionSpirit,
At present there is a survey going on in Scotland to try to establish how many wildcats remain!
Regarding your drem or "morningmare" you got to look into your habits or try to feel the reason why you should have a violent dream near morning?
My guess is that you were entangled in your bedclothes and tried to free yourself?
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
Dreams after sunrise are more truthful and happen earlier.
Cat means a thief person and a kitten means a child theif perhaps a street children. Its metal clow means perhaps a knife.
Pending at a wall means a turmoil in the life.
