Until now I never had any trouble interpreting my own dreams but I have had 3 dreams now which all seem to be connected. The first one was when I was a little kid, around 5 or 6, the second happened when I was 15 and the third was this morning. Each one was vivid enough and real enough that when I woke I could still feel any injurys that I had recieved even though there were no marks.
The first was me walking down the streets of a city, no lights were light except for the street light were I was. As I walked along and was about to pass out of the circle of light produced by the current street light another would turn on to illuminate my path and the previous one would shut off. A person was walking next to me but he stayed near the buildings completely out of the light. As I walked I began to feel lost and so I stoped to ask this person for he was the only other being I had seen. The moment I stopped it was as if the man had known I was going to ask him something and was at the end of the circle of light. I walked over to talk to him face to face but the moment I was in arm reach he grabbed me. Even in the light it was as if his arm was shrouded in shadow. His hand clamped down on my arm and began to drag me into the dark. About halfway out of the circle of light I woke to my mom shaking me saying I had been screaming for help in my sleep. The second dream had me in the same city except it looked as if the buildings were beginning to collapse. There were no lights at all this time not even where I was standing and down the street from me was that man. He was speaking but it was a language I couldn't understand. He seemed frustrated when I said so and continued to speak, repeating himself as if he wanted me to somehow disern the meaning of what he was saying even though I had no way of doing so. Even though I never learned what he was saying after he finished repeating himself for what seemed like forever he smiled at me and then was right infront of me. He wispered something to me, in the same language that he was speaking earlier and then it felt like I had been stabbed in the shoulder. Looking down I saw that he had stabbed me but instead of with a knife it was a sword. I remember thinking that it was strange that somoene would have and use a sword in modern times and then I woke in a cold sweat. The one I had this morning was again in that city only it looked as if the entire place had been bombed. All the buildings were collapsed and the street lights were bent at odd angles. Even though there was obviously no power and the street lights wern't on it was as bright as if every light in the city had been turned on. All around me were the bodies of my family, friends and people I had knew. All of their bodies were mangled and dismembered but no matter how badly there bodies were damaged their faces remained unharmed and on all of them was a look of sheer terror except for those of my close friends and my mother's on theirs was a look of great sadness. As I looked around I saw myself in a window which had stayed intact and I was covered in blood. This blood was in no way mine for I had no injuries but the most disturbing feature was I was holding a sword which was also covered in blood. Looking down the street I saw the same man from my other dreams and even though he was completely lit he somehow still looked like he was shrouded in shadows. When he noticed me looking at him he began to laugh but this laugh didn't sound human for in it you could almost hear all the cruelty in his being. He spoke again in his strange language but this time I understood him. He told me that I was the cause of everyone's death and as long as I continued to struggle against him that more would die. He carried a sword of his own and then we were face to face swords clashed in combat. As we fought I seemed to be the only one of us to get injured but near the end of the battle I struck him knocking him down. As I killed him he smiled at me and told me that I hadn't yet won. He faded the way a shadow fades when you approach light. As I stood in this destroyed city surrounded by the bodies of all the people I knew I began to feel alone in every sense of the word. In that moment his voice came to me and told me to enjoy the world in which I had created for it was the only one I would ever have. I feel that these dreams arn't over and I would like some help in figuring out what this means. The only thing I can figure out is the obvious part and that is that I am or will begin pushing people away from me and trying to stay alone. |

Honestly it sounds like you are having a spiritual conflict in your life and that you are having to choose what is right and what is wrong . Being under the stress of choosing right from wrong can stay in your subconsious mind . What ever you are going through seems to be unfinsihed and you have to make a final choice .
do you attend a church or any kind of religion because in the bible the Lord speaks of our sword and armour to protect us from evil . The battle of good and evil will continue till the end of days and even though we may win one there will always be others . i hope this helps Sincerely , Lettie |
